The cabin was cute, cozy, quirt, relaxing, and overall clean. A few bugs found their way in and a few details overlooked (couch crumbs, dirty bed skirt, trash in nightstand) but the home was clean and comfortable. The extra little touches were much appreciated- an abundance of towels, wonderful smelling shampoo and soap, a new kitchen sponge and paper towels, crisp clean bedding, a welcome book. The property was beautiful and a joy to explore. There are a series of tractor-made trails and game trails you can walk- though fields, to hilltops, around a lake, in view of another lake/pond, through the trees, along the gravel road. There is at least an hour worth of trails to walk and ways to mix them up. A few bits of trail were hard to find (and one part I never did). A beautiful spot atop a hill with sweeping views of fields, a lake, and the mountains was a favorite spot of mine to sit and have a quiet time the with Lord. If you plan to hike about, bring tick spray and be aware there is some tall grass you will be hiking through! The lake is beautiful and just a few minutes walk from the cabin. It did have some scum when I went in late August and the guest book indicated the lake was off-limits in last summer due to algae bloom. The Arrived staff indicated the lake could be used. A good think to check and know if that is of importance. I enjoyed my stay, the amenities, and the property and would recommend the property for a quiet get away. There are also great hikes nearby
