Welcome to Historic Haus Von Bartenbach! Centrally located in downtown Grand Island, find your peaceful abode through a gated, garden alley. This space was once a “canopy” or add-on boiler room for the historic Bartenbach Building, built in 1882. Take a morning stroll one block for coffee, or a few doors down to a hidden speakeasy at night. Enjoy modern finishings, natural light, laundry.

This dwelling has an outside patio adjacent to Henry J’s, an upscale speakeasy cocktail bar.

The host was great at communicating when needed. The location was great - lots of places to go in a walkable distance. A tad smaller than what I thought but worked for what we needed for a short stay.

Exactly as advertised. Such a cute, clean and perfect spot for our weekend getaway in Grand Island to travel to see the cranes and what the LOVB team. The speak easy next door was so much fun. Our hosts were amazing. Very responsible and communicative. Directions were spot on. Highly recommend

Modern accommodations surrounded by history

This small getaway is tucked away in an historic alley that just exudes charm. At night strings of light criss-cross the patio where on certain nights you can grab a drink next door at Henry J's and enjoy this charming spot. Located in downtown Grand Island, you are within walking distance of the historic Grand Theater, the commons area where there are concerts and other events, and several businesses and restaurants to keep you busy. You are also minutes away from the Nebraska State Fairgrounds and the Stuhr Museum.
Located in the historic Bartenbach Building, you are within walking distance of nearly everything downtown.
