Spektakulær udsigt over havet fra næsten hvert værelse i dette 'første række' hjem i Ocean Colony, et lukket samfund i Half Moon Bay. Den smukke strand ligger 5 minutters gang væk. Ritz Carlton Hotel ligger 10 minutters gang derfra. Placeret lige ved den anden tee på linkestil Ocean Course. Kig ned ad fairway til Ritz og ud til havet og nyd 'Skotland i Californien!' Nyligt møbleret af en interiørarkitekt i San Francisco. Dette er et perfekt sted til en familieferie, forretningsudflugt, golftur, romantisk flugt eller hjemmebase til et bryllup på Ritz. Stor terrasse på stenen bagpå har en lava klippeald, udendørs siddepladser og er perfekt til underholdning. De tilstødende Half Moon Bay Golf Links har to utrolige 18-hullers golfbaner. Bare en 30-minutters kørsel fra San Francisco og en 5-minutters kørsel til butikker og restauranter på Main Street i Half Moon Bay. Kom og nyd!

Lovely Weekend

We enjoyed a lovely weekend at this Half Moon Bay home. The home is beautiful inside and out and in a great location. We loved that we could walk to the oceanside paths and also just sit in the backyard and enjoy the view. Recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing visit.

Amazing Property and Excellent Service

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was super clean and spacious and the location is perfect! Our host was actually the best host I have ever had at any property I have ever stayed. Very attentive and made my family and I feel special. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful house in amazing place

The house is roomy, enough space for everyone, well appointed, all necessities provided. All rooms on the 1st floor and master bedroom have sweeping views of the ocean. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Pacific Coastal trail starts practically from the door. The reason for 4 stars is that house is in need of a little repairs. We had problems with closing and opening windows, one of the 2 dishwashers didn’work. However Sonia was very responsive and did her best to fix the problem. All and all I would recommend this house for a restful stay.

Beautiful ocean and golf course views

The house is beautiful and spacious with gorgeous views of the ocean and the Half Moon Bay Ocean Golf Course. The owner provided a bounty of snacks and drinks to make the stay more enjoyable. There were four couples and a single person who stayed to enjoy a couple of days of golfing. The weather was sunny and perfect for golfing. The house is within walking distance to the Ritz Carlton. The garage had bikes and scooters to use too. There are wonderful restaurants near by. We would definitely rent this house again.

Amazing Property!

Such an amazing stay in HMB. The property was gorgeous and has the most amazing view. The house was clean, large and perfect for our family with children. So many amenities for the kids, plenty of towels and everything you could need in the kitchen. The homeowners were very responsive, accommodating and easy to work with. My only complaint is the beds were very u comfortable. But we will definitely be back- hopefully an annual basis! We had the best time

Spacious Home with a View

Property is as pictured. Nice location, good view, spacious and comfortable home, and great kitchen for people that like to cook (two dishwashers!). Hosts are easy to communicate with and very responsive. While I don't know if I will have occasion for this large of a house again, I would definitely recommend it.

Fabulous Find

This stay could not have been better! Despite the rainy weather, we were thrilled with this beautiful, well-maintained home in Half Moon Bay. Gorgeous view of the Ritz Carlton from the backyard; a huge, well-stocked kitchen; gracious hosts (we did not meet in person but were so responsive and accommodating)! It is exactly as presented on VRBO website. Everything you could want or need was at the house. We are so grateful for this fabulous experience.

Just as Advertised!

We extended our stay in California after our daughters wedding. The house comfortably held 10 including 2 small kids. We played golf and the trails were amazing. The house was clean and communication with host was exceptional. I would say the property was better than we expected all around. Thank you!

Wonderful Bay and Golf Course Views

Our stay at this properly in Half Moon Bay was wonderful. We worked with Lisa and she was very responsive throughout the entire process. The booking process went very smooth and we received all of the necessary information to get ourselves situated upon arrival. The property had great views of the water and golf course. Great neighborhood that's private and very close to the Ritz Carlton at Half Moon Bay. The house itself was a pleasure to stay in. Very open concept and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and they even had toys for the 2 year old that we had on the trip with us. I would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking about staying in the Half Moon Bay area or visiting the San Francisco area.

Spectacular!

We had two families with young children and three grandparents stay for a long weekend. There was plenty of space in the immaculately maintained home. The house is beautifully decorated in modern designs, the ocean views are amazing, and beach access is a five minute stroll away. A couple of us went jogging every morning on the Coastal trail, we took the kids to the beach everyday, and the grandparents enjoyed golf. We also enjoyed the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve and saw lots of seals and tide pool animals. There are several nice restaurants in downtown HMB, but if you want to visit Sam's chowder house, make reservations or prepare to wait. We mostly cooked and ate in the dream kitchen. Thanks to the property manager for taking care of everything, I sent many emails and received quick responses every time. Overall, a wonderful vacation rental experience.

Host Attitude

I absolutely loved the scenery and location around the house. Due to a power outage during the 3 days. We had to endure the inconvenience of darkness and cold. Even if the power outage is due to the power company's circumstances, the super host will have some warm words for the people staying there. The order was to recommend an additional heating system or to ask if there was a shortage of lanterns. However, Without saying anything like that, When I heard that it was due to a problem with the power company, I thought it was not the attitude of the host who runs such a nice house, so I would like to suggest this once again. I think we need to have a more customer-friendly attitude.

Best View, Security, and Most Room

There are so many pluses to this property, it is hard to list them all. The property host is very thoughtful, kind, accessible, and helpful. She helped with specific date requests and needs for an infant and 4 year old. She is very responsive to any questions before and during the rental period. The beach is a short and beautiful walk away. The community playground is private and well done. The driveway accommodates many cars in a very usable configuration. The number of en-suite bathrooms was a huge plus for our family group (2 private en-suite bathrooms plus one bathroom that is shared by two bedrooms with separate bathroom doors/entrances attached to each of the bedrooms. Kitchen is awesome with dual dishwashers and ovens, along with a roomy refrigerator, tons of cabinet space, and a wine refrigerator. The laundry room is also very well equipped. Shoes are not permitted upstairs, but this is very understandable as there is nice white carpeting everywhere upstairs. There is a small gas fire pit for enjoying s’mores on the back deck. The neighborhood is private and gated with security 24/7. The often cooler temperatures near the coast were very refreshing. Thank you for this rental, and our family will be back.
