The cabin was such a nice home, it feels secluded from the main hubbub, but is incredibly close to stores and activities.

Beautiful home! Loved the history of the place. Enjoyed all the indoor and outdoor sitting areas as well as the lovely view. The maintenance and cleanliness of the home was great as was the high quality linens and furnishings. Would stay there again.

What a lovely oasis close to Red Mountain wineries, less than 15 minutes to exquisite wine. The home is beautifully appointed and equipped; A luxurious visit with spa showers and deep soaking tub. The grounds have lovely areas to sit and visit and enjoy the quiet. We simply cannot wait to return.

The home is beautiful and the outdoor sitting spaces are perfect for morning coffee or bbqing dinner in the other patio. It was great to check in and see that I didn’t have to run out to buy coffee. When we needed help with the TV they got right back to us. We would recommend this lovely home. Do need to improve the upstairs mattresses covering & maybe a topper for more comfort. Master is perfect. We would rent again

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Everything was so clean and beautifully done. It was our honeymoon and the hosts had rose petals on the bed which was so sweet. I would love to come back to the cabin again.

FANTASTIC!!! This place is amazing. Literally in the heart of town but you immediately feel out of town. It’s so gorgeous outside and in and the hosts are just awesome. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful home with plenty of space in a quiet/peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed the small details—the privacy, the view of the valley, the bathrooms with the handcrafted wooden pull down flush handles. It’s perfect.

A walk back in time with all the conveniences

The log cabin had a feeling of the past but inside and outside we had all the modern conveniences. Well supplied, located close to the Red Mountain vineyards, beautiful and idyllic setting and view. Highly recommend this VBRO.

Came into town to boat on the Columbia for Labor Day weekend 2025. Not one thing negative to say about this Log Cabin. It was truly an awesome stay. The entire Family raved about it. Only 10 mins from a boat launch. Great views and the last night, that view treated us to an absolutely Awesome Lightening Storm as we watch from deck! Thank you!

Amazing! Pictures don’t do it justice. The view was so amazing, awesome sunrise!

Everything we needed was available. House was immaculate. Easy door code to get in. Master bed was super comfortable! Ŵe were in town for a softball tournament with our team. Plenty of sleeping space for multiple people. Thank you

All in all the place was nice. We celebrated the life of our matriarch and it was so good to be together under one roof with our kids and their families. On the downside, queen bed was hard and the plastic covers on mattresses was uncomfortable, the upstairs room was overly warm while the downstairs was cold - it would have been great to have some fans.We also could have used some baggies and tinfoil for food storage (which we assumed would be there).It’s a really cool home and several of us took baths in the copper tub!

Host will cancel day of

I had booked this stay for my family 2 weeks prior for them to be able to attend my daughter's soccer tournament. I never received the check- in instructions 48 hours prior to check in as posted in the rental ad. The morning of check-in the owner of the property canceled my reservation without justifiable cause. I would not waste your money with this rental.

Please accept our sincerest apologies. This was our first ever VRBO host booking and our first (and only) "host" cancellation. We weren't aware the listing was live as we didn't have access to the owner's dashboard until we got our banking, insurance, tax, and other info correct, which unfortunately happened the day after your scheduled departure. As this was our first ever booking for this, our one and only, first-ever vacation rental property, this scenario cannot happen again, as there's only one "first" try at anything, and ours was an obvious failure that apparently seriously upset you, for which we are truly sorry. Having experienced this ourselves as guests, we understand your frustration. Learning the VRBO system was frustrating for us as well. There were many hidden/unknown requirements during the automated account creation process that took us many frustrating days to correct. We were concerned the listing would go live before we could get all the right information accepted and gain access to the account. And that is exactly what happened, to both our detriment. Again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and would like to offer a 10% discount if you should choose to stay at the cabin in the future. We welcome the opportunity to provide you and your friends and family the same exceptional guest experience as many others have since, at the most unique private luxury log home in the area. Thanks again for your understanding and valid concern.
