We absolutely loved our stay here! It was perfect for all our needs. It was very well kept with top notch appliances and the master bedroom shower is AMAZiING! Close to Wrigley, a Giordanos and many other places! The front desk staff was so kind and we loved the roof top and library. We will stay here again.

This was a great property and close to shops and fun activities. It’s a VRBO property and a hotel so the pre trip communication is different than traditional VRBOs but it did not impact our experience. There is someone on staff 24/7 if there are questions or if you need any supplies. The parking is in a garage behind the property and very convenient. You pay additional for it but well worth it. We would stay here again.

Easy and comfortable

We have stayed here before - it is an apartment in a building that is hotel-like and quiet. Very clean, beds comfortable, rooms are spacious. Excellent shower in master.

Perfectly Suitable

Was perfect for what we were after. Only minor catch was that it wasn’t clear going in the degree to which this place is mostly a hotel. In the long run, it didn’t matter, but it hears mentioning. Had a blast, would absolutely stay here again.

Outstanding

It was a perfect match for our family. Enough public and private space for being together or alone time. The roof deck was great. The kitchen had all the necessaary tools but we would have appreciate some items more than just salt and pepper - like olive oil, mustard etc.

Thank you for the great review, James! We are so happy to hear you and your family enjoyed your stay! Since we do run as a hotel, we do not have all of the extra cooking items, but we always like to recommend Instacart if you need any groceries or other items as they can deliver right to the front desk! We are always happy to accept the orders for you and put items up in the suite ahead of time if need be as well, as long as there is no liquor in the order. We are also so glad to hear you were able to have nice weather while you were here and enjoy the roof deck! We hope to be able to host you again! Best regards, TGH Team

Spacious and comfortable.

Great location and spacious apartment made this a great place for our adult family to gather. One note: the kitchen is well equipped for eating, but not for cooking. Aside from salt and pepper, there were none of the supplies I usually find in a STR: oil, condiments, plastic bags/foil, etc. Be sure to take a stroll north to Foursided Cards and Gifts for fun cards, books and treasures. Excellent food can be enjoyed at Anteprima, a cozy Itallian restaurant nearby.

Diane, Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We are happy to hear you had a wonderful stay while you were here to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with your family! Since we are a hotel and not an actual home, we have found in the past the extra items you mentioned didn't get used often enough and would many times end up expiring, which unfortunately caused quite a bit of wasted product. We do have some other items available upon request if we have some on hand, such as plastic baggies or tinfoil, and you are always welcome to check with the front desk to see if we have those items available! We have the front desk staffed 24/7 and are always happy to check and see if we have what you are needing :) We are also thrilled to hear you were able to explore and enjoy our cozy little neighborhood! It has so much to offer and we love when our guests get to enjoy it! We look forward to hosting you again the next time you "wander home" here to us at The Guesthouse Hotel! Best regards, TGH Team

Great condo, great location

The condo was a perfect place for our family to spend a quarantine Thanksgiving. Because of covid we didn't get to use any of the facilities. However, the condo was plenty big enough for 6 of us to enjoy takeout and plenty of fun family time. Short walk to all of Andersonville shops, and restaurants. Fyi, the master shower was my favorite ever. We did have our pup, and it was great for her. Nice little grass patch out back.

Beautiful Property

My daughter and I stayed in this beautiful property while visiting Chicago over a holiday weekend. The condo is well appointed, beautifully maintained and was well located for everything we had planned. In addition, the locally sourced items available in the room and at the front desk were a delightful addition to our stay. Well done!

Nice condo in Andersonville

This condo was very nice and clean. A couple of things were broken, such as the dishwasher, but other than that it was a very comfortable place to stay. I little bit out of the way, but in a very nice, quiet neighborhood.
