The house wasn’t ready when we got there. There was a dog barking inside.

My stay didn’t go how I expected. Pool wasn’t cleaned. My daughter and grandkids bed sheets were dirty. I had never had a code for the front door, even I asked several times. When me and my family went out, we had to leave the front door unlocked because we wouldn’t have been able to get back in the house, and also we didn’t know how to lock the door without the code or the key. Which wasn’t really safe at all. I will never refer friends and family to book that house. NEVER

House was beautiful

We stayed 6/05/17-6/10/17. The house was beautiful (same as the pictures). It's in a great location close to stores and the beach. We had a family of 11 and we fit just fine. There was plenty of room for everyone. The owner responded to my messages very quickly. There was no mop at the house and she brought one the same day we arrived. Although the house had 4 bedrooms, there was only a TV in one of the bedrooms and the control was missing so we couldn't even change the channels. The house needs new pots and pans, the ones there were very old. There was only one cutting board and it was ready for the trash. The outdoor grill is very small and for a family of 11 it took a long time to cook our meals outside. We also saw what looked like a huge roach. We only saw it in the house twice so maybe it crawled in from outside. Other than that, my family enjoyed the vacation house.

nice but could be better with just a little work

beautiful area and the house layout is very nice for a large group. communication with owner somewhat spotty, slow to return texts even with issues. the house is air conditioned however the biggest room has a portable air cond, way undersized and do the the temps it makes the room almost unusable.. back patio area was dirty, cob webs, dust etc. and the interior was a bit dusty. We neverless had a great time. The biggest issue was that thwt portable air was plugged into an extension cord and burnt the brass plug end off the corb and burnt the a/c electric outlet. When I called her she offered to bring another cord however this unit is not supposed to be pluged into an extension cord. Big fire hazard.!

Not as good as it looks!

When we arrived, we started looking around and noticed the whole place was not very clean. We had to clean the kitchen as well as the dishes that were in the cupboard. We changed the furnace return filter because it was filthy. The main bathroom smelled like pee. There was not enough pillows, so we had to go and buy some for our stay, which we left there. The washing machine door does not stay shut during cycle, so we put a stool in front of it to keep the door closed. The pool is not heated and was not warm enough to swim in. The owner did come and fix the garbage disposal, and brought a few more supplies, but it took three days for a response because she said I texted the wrong number. But I had received this number prior to my stay informing me to use it. We found only 1/2 a roll of paper towels, one kitchen garbage bag, no hand soap, and only two rolls of TP per bathroom. Not enough for 13 people for a week! We also saw a few cockroaches in the house. The pots and pans and kitchen utensils were not adequate to cook, so we had to eat out every day. The front door lock code was hit or miss whether we could lock it when we left. A few times, we had to lock from the inside and go around back to get out. The positives were that the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of space for all of us, and the wifi worked well.

Loved It!!!!!!

This home was absolutely beautiful. It was even more than we were expecting. The yard was gorgeous and the home was spacious and modern. I would highly recommended this home for persons desiring to take a family vacation.

The house was beautiful

Let me say the house was beautiful , but not kept clean ,and besides that went we gat to the house all the garbage can was full ,that was a indication that no one clean ,they charged you money for cleaning and is not clean, the house was 80 in side, finally we discovered that air conditioning wasn't working ,owner send a repair man,but could not be fix,she send to 2 portable air conditioning for this big house, you can imagine ,that didn't work , must off the room did not gat cool, can you imagine getting dress for a wedding , because that's is why we was there,hope the company knows what family go true went the rent this home finally hope the company given us some money back for the inconvenience

Beautiful house.

I love the house alot of space, the only issue was the drain in the showers the water wasn't draining we have to wait like 10 min. In order for other person to take a shower. But overall its nice.

Not what I expected

I was not the first one to the house, but when part of our party got there right at check in time the owner showed up shortly after. She gave one of the guest a package of light bulbs and said she knew some were out, but she didn't know which ones so we could change them ourselves if we found them. I thought this was odd, but it should have been a sign that things were going to get worse. The ceiling in the living room had a huge water stain on it, and the house had a strong musty smell. So much so that I had to go to the store and buy air fresheners. When we commented on the stain she said she was hiring painters to cover it up. Hours after we all were there, the ceiling started leaking by the stain. I messaged her right away, she replied about an hour later that she would call someone. The next afternoon I hadn't heard anything from her and we had emptied the pitcher it was leaking into 4 times. This was not a slow leak. She told me to turn the air off and that someone would come the next day. I said no because I had a baby in the house, she needed to do something sooner. So, someone came out that afternoon. We stayed at the house to be there when he arrived. When he went up into the attic it made the entire house smell like mold. I wouldn't be surprised if there was black mold up there. We were all stuffy and coughing every morning when we would wake up. He flushed out some things and added freon. Two days later it started leaking again, even faster. It took two messages and several hours before she responded, we had plans to go out for dinner, part of our group stayed back to again be there when he arrived. I'm not exactly sure what he did on this visit. Then on Monday we woke up to a green pool. I had to text her again, she sent a pool guy out. He said that the pool had had a lot of issues the week before and a little more still had to be done. We couldn't use the pool for 24 hours because of the chemicals he needed to add. He ended up needing to come back three days in a row because the filter on the pool was too small for the size of the pool and kept getting clogged. He was the one that told us that she had multiple rentals in the area and that he serviced them all. We ended up leaving a day early, and when I messaged her and told her this and asked if she could refund the price of the last night since we had had so many issues she did not respond.

Great house!!

We just returned from our trip to Ft. Lauderdale and stay at this house. Overall we had a great experience! The pool and backyard area is amazing!!! It's also right on the canal so the kids had fun fishing and actually caught quite a bit right off the dock! We went in the pool every day once we got back from our days outings and it was so relaxing! The inside of the house was nice as well, good layout and lots of beds. The only complaints would be that there is only one bedroom with a tv (and we couldn't find the remote anywhere for the tv- couldn't manually change channels either), the beds are pretty firm (you may want to bring a mattress topper) and their seemed to be some type of tiny sugar ants that were present in the master bathroom and bedroom and few other areas, also the kids bunkbed didn't have a ladder that was attached. Overall though we had a GREAT trip and would love to stay at this house again if we are ever in the area!

50th Birthday Celebration

Really enjoyed my stay this past weekend. House is located in a vary nice neighborhood, Publix is very close for food shopping and plenty of restaurants, the beach is about 15 mins away. The house was very roomy, clean, and kitchen and bathrooms are up to date. Anything that was needed the owner reply pretty fast. The gas grill didn't work and they brought in another grill and charcoal. I live in FL but i had 7 friends come from all over for the weekend and they all loved the place. Great place to stay..

Excellent Place to Stay!

Myself and 5 other individuals stayed at this property to attend a hockey game in Sunrise. The home itself was beautiful, spacious and well kept. The backyard was huge with plenty of privacy. The pool was a welcomed treat and the porch was absolutely perfect to sit in the shade, relax and chat. The location itself was dead in the middle, between Sunrise (and the outlet malls) and Ft. Lauderdale Beach (approx. 20 mins in each direction). We did have a rented vehicle, so this distance wasn't much of an issue. If you were planning to use an Uber or cab, I would plan your days accordingly to save some money in fares. I would definitely recommend this location to my friends and will absolutely think about staying here again.

Amazing yard to relax and play in

This is a beautiful home that accommodated our family of 12 comfortably. The boys loved fishing in the canal. All the kids enjoyed the pool. We spent many evenings playing cards in the backyard sitting area. Beds were comfortable. We had to make a couple of unexpected trips to the store for dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and trash bags, but overall the home was well stocked. We would recommend this home to families staying in the area.

Not like the pictures

Multiple issues with electrical, bugs, mold, and just run down house. The only thing that was nice was the weather, because the house couldn't wreck that. Stay away from this place not worth the price at all.

House was nice

Enjoyed our stay this past week. House was situated in a nice neighborhood, close to shops and restaurants. We're from the mid west so the non heated pool wasn't an issue. Kids loved it. Kids also go some fishing in, and we even left 3 poles we purchased for the next visitors. Could've had more pots/pans, but we made die with what we had, we all love to cook. Ran out of propane but that wasn't an issue since it was the last night of our trip.

Winter get away

The house was very roomy. We had plenty of space for our group of 11. We found the house overall very clean and neat. There were small things like the inadequate pans, the oven that wasn't clean, and a missing light bulb in the living room. We needed to clean the grill before we could use it for which we needed to buy a brush because there wasn't one there. The yard was less than desirable. Palm branches and coconuts were all over the yard. Definitely needed yard work done! The pool wasn't heated nor did it have a solar cover so it was too cold to use most days. We enjoyed the games that were available. We left behind some pool toys that we bought for our younger children. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and would go back but knowing the pool wasn't heated would maybe change our timing of a return visit.

Beautiful

House is clean and well taken care of. The owner is awesome, anything you need just send her a text or email and she's right on it . We stayed here with a total of 9 people and had plenty of space and enough beds. Kids loved the pool. Great place to stay

Very relaxing home with a superb backyard.

The property was excellent for our 4 night stay with 8 people and it easily had enough room for more. We spent most of our time away from the house but when we were there it was extremely relaxing to sit on the back patio. We had a great time and found it a very easy process with the owner.

This is a nice, comfortable house in the grand scheme of things. If you are looking to use the "gourmet kitchen", grill, swim, and fish, look someplace else. I booked specifically because of the kitchen, (pots and pans too rusty and dirty to use), pool (did not realize it was not heated-my fault), the gas grill (did not work), and the "private fishing dock" which was blocked by huge fallen trees and only has access to a shallow, very murky canal where there are no fish. I spent a lot of money and could have saved half had I gone to the resort we stayed at after this house. The owner was kind and easy to work with, she refunded me $100 due to my complaints and the money we wasted on food we could not grill. The space is great for a family, lots of room and usable space. The backyard is peaceful and great for hanging out although the owner had a power washer come in the afternoon of one of our days and after he sprayed bleach all over everything, we had to move our dinner party inside because everything was wet and the smell was really bad. (not to mention unhealthy) Overall very disappointed in what I got for the money I spent. I saved a long time for this trip and the first 3 days were kind of a disappointment because this house was not all it promised to be. A new set of pots/pans, and a new gas grill would help a lot.

Fabulous for our family

Five adults in our family got together for a pre-Christmas holiday. This home is exactly what the pictures showed. We loved the yard and pool. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. Since we were having a remarkable heat wave (85 and humid) and we came from the cold mid-west we found that the family room did not get as cool as we would have liked. We did not complain about this. We found the owner responsive and gracious. We had a minor plumbing problem and she got it resolved on the weekend. While we were all adults, it is clear that this home would accommodate families with children as well.

Just as described!

The house looked exactly like the pictures! I went with a family group of about 10 adults. There was enough space for everyone. The house was spacious enough so that no one felt like they were on top of each other. The kitchen area was perfect, nice and open for everyone to move around freely in. Me and my family loved this house so much that we will be returning again. During our stay, was the same time as the hurricane Matthew. That didn't stop our family vacation. The owner, she was SOOO nice, and very helpful. She was very accommodating and quick with responses. The pool needed to be cleaned and someone was there an hour later. The Dish washer wasn't working and the repairman was out the same day to fix it. She made our stay very comfortable. This house really felt like our home. The location was great, the neighbors were very nice and there are plenty of stores and grocery stores close by. We will definitely be staying here again next year!

Nice house, too many issues.

The house was nice and spacious. The pictures depicted the house accurately. The back yard was beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet. The local contact was very hard to reach. Return text or email was not returned in a timely manner. When we arrive at the check in time the house was not ready. We had to wait 15 minutes for the cleaning crew to arrive. Once we were able to get into the house it was very hot. The airconditioner was clearly not working. The gentleman, Ken, who handled the cleaning the crew met us at the house and was amazing. He located the local contact, who was out of the country on vacation and arranged for the airconditioning company to come out and take a look at the unit. After two days of only one ac unit working in the house the problem was finally corrected to keep us more comfortable. The stove burners were long to warm up. The grill had an empty tank we hand to locate a full tank. I would not stay at this location again as it the local contact was not responsive to my communication attempts. If Ken did not take care of all he did we would have been stuck with a very hot house. He did this out of kindness as it was not his responsibility as he did not manage this property.
