Since we used the kitchen for a few meals, we appreciated the extensive amount of flatware, cookware and dishes that were available. A lovely deck and patio furniture provided a relaxing place to view Lake Michigan.

This house exceeded our expectations! It was so clean and setup so nice! The deck and view of the lake were breathtaking. Even though you are not right on the lake, it was close enough for us to walk to. We loved everything about it.

This home was the perfect choice for us when coming to Manitowoc for my daughter's wedding. We were able to have family come visit and watch my grandchildren so my daughter in law could help with the wedding. We even took some of the pictures in the beautiful house and out on the back deck overlooking Lake Michigan. We will definitely be back!

Our history John was very nice and answered our questions right away. This property was perfect for four adults and three teens. Plenty of room, so clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything necessary for a large group. Central air kept the house so comfortable, and in the evenings, the cool breezes were perfect while sitting out on the deck. The deck was large and the view of Lake Michigan was so peaceful. The house was within walking distance of a nice beach and pier with lighthouse, and we walked into town several times to hit several fun spots. Just a very nice house in a fun busy town!

The location was great, is easy to get to the museum/sub tour and downtown. We ate at the rental so used the kitchen a lot, nicely furnished.Very nice outdoor space, quiet and beautiful view of lake MI.

This property was a great place and I would gladly stay here for any future visits to Manitowoc. The house was clean and had everything we expected for our stay (including 3 oscillating fans).The three beds had comfortable foam mattresses and my adult daughter did not complain about sleeping on the futon.The street is well lit outside making it easy to enter and exit the house at night, but could be an issue if you need it pitch black to sleep.I am 6'1" and was initially concerned about the height of the upstairs. I did not have to duck at the top of the stairs, but did have to duck to enter the upstairs bathroom and be aware of the ceiling where it wasn't at its peak. Another one of our guests who is about 5'3" hit her head in one of the upstairs bedrooms and mentioned the shower upstairs was a bit small and there was not much room to use a blow dryer in the upstairs bathroom.This property met all our needs, was cheaper than renting multiple hotel rooms, allowed our group to stay together, and provided a comfortable stay.The view of Lake Michigan and watching the sunrise over the lake from the patio or dining area was magnificent.

John's place was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, next to an elementary school and just a short walk to Lighthouse Park and beach.

Dining area small and not conducive for kids. Driveway difficult. No shade on deck for morning sun. Pergola would be nice. Natural gas leak suspected during our stay and confirmed the day we left. Host was indifferent about the situation. Small one night refund minus taxes and fees. We booked 8 months in advance and had to pay the full amount at the time of booking. Upstairs with two small bedrooms unable to cool adequately. Washer and dryer nice but in the basement.

Loved the house; upgrades were well done and fresh. Kitchen and living areas were exceptional. Appliances were new and had everything we needed. Front porch was relaxing and the morning sunrises on the back deck were beautiful. Host was very attentive and responsive. Only issue was the second floor, ceiling height was a problem for tall people… 6’8”… was a challenge.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at this Vrbo home in Manitowoc! We stayed in early December. The home is easy to find. Everything is as pictured and very clean. The home is located in a nice quiet neighborhood with a pretty view of Lake Michigan. The home has been completely remodeled with nice upgrades and touches. I appreciated the fans, phone chargers, blankets, things like that. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and eat. Simple instructions for leaving and a nice host. I would definitely stay here again.

Manitowoc lake view

The house is very clean and pretty well equipped in the kitchen. Cute front porch and a nice deck which looks out toward the lake, adds a lot of ambience. Everything works well and the instructions were easy to follow. Waking to the lighthouse or through the surrounding neighborhood, or downtown, was also a fun excursion. I highly recommend this house and will probably visit again soon.

Girls Weekend

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this beautiful VRBO! The home was spotless, bright, and cheerful—such a welcoming atmosphere. We really appreciated the thoughtful extras like individual fans in each bedroom and convenient charging stations. The bathrooms were modern and well-stocked with plenty of towels. The deck was a highlight—stunning views and comfortable furniture made it the perfect spot to relax. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. We’d absolutely stay here again!

A real Gem! Lots of beautiful and fun things to do.

Manitowoc has lots of great food and bars. Various venues had bands throughout the week. This lovely house had a great view of Lake Michigan. It was just a short walk away with a charming little beach and a lighthouse on the far end of the pier. There were lots of different birds to see. There were lots of interesting nature hikes, parks, various history museums and a small zoo all within a short drive. Plenty to do and also a great place to just relax and enjoy the beauty. A great find that will keep us coming back!
