Opgraderet apparater, ny vaskemaskine og tørretumbler, er soveværelse nyligt møbleret, og har en læger valg madras, med opgraderet sengetøj. To udendørs dæk og et solrum.

Kabine ejendom er omgivet af Roosevelt National Forest godt til vandreture, mountain biking, langrend og snesko. Du kan også nyde alpint og nordisk ski 20 minutter til Eldora Ski Resort.

Kasinoer, spa, restauranter, skiløb, købmand og det nybyggede Gilpin Co rekreative center med en skød pool, separat børnebassin med vandrutschebane og fitness-område samt en skøjteløb dam er en kort køretur væk.

Beliggende 1 mile formular kabinen er 'The Last Shot "bar og restaurant tilbyder en omfattende menu, poolborde, udendørs dæk, og er kid & hund venlige. Mid amt væsker er placeret ved siden af. Smuk udsigt i nærheden, omgivet af national skov.

Nærliggende byer omfatter Rollinsville omkring fire miles væk; Nederland omkring ti miles væk; Blackhawk og Central City omkring ti miles væk. Whitewater sejlads i Idaho Springs, en 30 min. køre. Begge byer Golden og Boulder er en kort 25 miles kørsel. Hvornår i Golden besøg Coors Brewery.

Wonderful place to stay. The home was more than spacious enough for four people and a dog. We loved the den/enclosed porch off the bedroom. It's perfectly located for many hikes. Donna was so gracious and responsive.

Just what we needed.

Nice place, well-equipped and great location if you like to enjoy some beautiful hiking. Hosts were very nice , accommodating, and responsive as well. Small town of Nederland has a couple of good restaurants and is fun and only 15-17 minutes away.

Relaxing get away

We had a very relaxing stay at this cabin. Everything was nice. Only thing we would have liked better was if the living area had a recliner or chair to sit in. There was a couch and dinner table chairs only.

Fabulous stay

My family loved the cabin in the woods, hiking, visiting Nederland, skiing Eldora, and going into nearby Denver. Everything we needed plus more! Hosts were kind and accomodating.

The property is perfect for a quiet get away. Everything was better than described and expected.

The cabin was everything we expected and more. Donna was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The location was exceptional, and the beautifully remodeled cabin provided the perfect setting for our weekend. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone, and we will definitely be coming back to stay here again.

Spacious and beautiful, inside and out!

The cabin is lovely with tons of space to relax inside and out. The small touches here and there really add to the experience and help to feel welcome in the space. Outside is breathtaking and the tree swings were a favorite!

Great mountain escape

The property and the house are nicer than the photos. We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck and feeding the hummingbirds, chickadees, and chipmunks! Nice hike up by the Moffat tunnel.

The property and cabin were very nice. The owners are great people and want you to have an awesome experience staying there. The hiking trails behind the cabin are great. they are well used and you cant get lost. All in all its a very nice place to stay and we had a great time.

Besties Mountain Vacation

Everything about Dancing Bear Cabin was wonderful! Tucked perfectly away and yet we felt safe and secure being just us City gals! Loved exploring all the surrounding local establishments and the gift shops... There is so much to do just there on site too if you want to just escape and get back in touch with nature... So beautiful....

Relaxing and beautiful

The access to the trail in Roosevelt National Forest is the highlight of this place. So nice to roll out of bed and go wandering through the trees with no plans or car. Great games too, I'm hooked on Twixt!

We had the opportunity to stay at this one of a kind cabin for our trip to Colorado las fall. The views were amazing, with easy to get to hikes right around the corner. The owners were so helpful while planning our trip and helping us along the way. We will definitely be back

Terrific place in the woods

Absolutely terrific place in the woods, backing up to national forest. Clean, quiet, and cozy. And still only about 45 minutes to Boulder. Owners were very helpful and responsive. We would definitely go back.

Dancing Bear

The cabin is beautiful and fully equipped. We loved the open floor plan of the livingroom and kitchen/dining area, and appreciated use of the wood stove on chilly nights. There are numerous hiking trails nearby and the little town of Nederland offered several great dining options. If you're looking for a mountain retreat, we highly recommend Dancing Bear!

Home Away From Home

Beautiful cabin that is comfortable and centrally located to all Gilpin County has to offer. Owners were helpful and friendly in every encounter. Short distance from Eldora Ski Resort, Blackhawk Casinos, Carribou Trail, and the city of Nederland. Cabin has everything you need to be comfortable and relax with the peace and quiet of being in the middle of the forest. Will definitely stay here again!

Cozy Getaway

The property is exactly as pictured. I took my daughter and her friends for her 16th birthday. The girls loved it, and the owner made it even more special by leaving a few things to say happy birthday.

Cross country road trip

This was the perfect stay for my parents and I on our cross country road trip! So secluded and up in the mountains. Exceeded all expectations. Such a beautiful, clean, cozy cabin. The drive up with spectacular. Donna was super helpful, kind, and detail oriented! Would love to stay with them again.

Beautiful Cabin

We celebrated my husband's birthday for a week at this beautiful, peaceful cabin. We brought along our fur babies and they absolutely loved the snow. We dinned and explored the nearby cities Nederland and Central City. We took the dogs to trails in Boulder, Breckenridge, Nederland and Colorado Springs. It was a great vacation. The cabin was clean, peaceful and the snow made it so much prettier. We cannot wait to stay again!

Quiet and Cozy Mountain Getaway in a Forest

It felt like our lives continued but in a cabin surrounded by forest rather than buildings. Me and my boyfriend have been working and living in New York City for many years, and were looking for a quiet getaway to recharge and do some hiking. The road to the cabin was so special - the views were exactly what we were hoping. Thank you Donna for the wonderful cabin! I felt like I was at home the entire time.

Don, born and raised in Colorado married Donna, a New York Native over 38 years ago. Don has enjoyed the cabin since childhood, hiking, biking, skiing, hunting, fishing, climbing and exploring with his parents. We found a trail behind the cabin where a covered wagon had once tipped over. To this day old glass bottles can be dug up at this site. The trail opens to a large meadow and bubbling stream.

A family jewell passed on, now for others to enjoy as well. Colorado history abounds in the area. It is near Peak to Peak Highway which has the most beautiful sights available on the front range.

A huge feature is that the back door leads onto the Roosevelt National Forest. Hiking & mountain biking trails are feet away to springs and a nearby river. Wildlife prevails in the area; moose, dear and elk are common. Ghost towns and 4 wheel drive trails surround the area, and are a short drive away.
