My wife and i really enjoyed our stay at the cabin, it was clean, cozy, comfortable, and had everything we could ask for. So nice to have a dish washer, washer and Dryer there if we needed one. Beds were comphy , gas fireplace always a plus. 100%

Cabin was clean and not out of date. Kitchen was easy to cook in with everything we needed. It was further from the other cabins so it still felt secluded

The cabin was very clean and tidy when my family arrived. Quiet and secluded area with a down home feel. It is a perfect place to get away to when you're sick and tired of city life. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Nice cabin with great weekly rate for a pet friendly rental. Host's communication was very good with quick responses. Some of the amenities were outdated but all were functional. While this cabin is in a more private location of the subdivision, the steep grade and steps to access it aren't for individuals with mobility issues. Despite the small detractions we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Cabin in Meadows of Dan

Great cabin in Meadows of Dan. Very happy with our stay and with the responsiveness of Jacob. The bonus is our fur babies were welcomed to stay with us.

We loved the cabin and our stay! Jake was very welcoming and was quick to get back to us when we had questions. We loved the rustic feel of the cabin and enjoyed the porch each morning with coffee in hand. Nothing like hearing crickets and peaceful wind blowing through the trees each night. The only things to be aware of are steps down to the property if anyone in your party has mobility issues. My mom had a little difficulty getting down but was grateful for the hand rail and steps. Also, make sure to have GPS programmed in your phone prior to getting to the cabin. We had no cell phone service until we stepped inside the cabin. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay and we will plan to come back if available for our next trip! Be sure to check out the Old Farmers Marker and the banana pudding if visiting Meadows of Dan! Delicious!

Very charming, super clean, great location

We had a wonderful stay to relax and recharge our batteries after a hectic day. The cabin is immaculate and decorated handsomely and not overdone. Jake was extremely responsive when we had a question. We definitely would like to come back in a little warmer weather to enjoy the back deck and see more of the area's parks.

The road leading to the cabin is not in the best shape. The cabin was clean. Property listing stated it had air conditioning. We arrived on a hot day in April, and the cabin was hot, humid and had no air conditioner. It had been removed for the winter. Contacted the owner and he issued a refund; we chose not to stay. Parking is inconvenient due to being located on a hill above the cabin.

Hi Amy. I felt awful for the mixup and quickly offered a refund. Not the best outcome and I’m sorry for that. Because of this situation I had a brand new central heating and air conditioning system installed.

Nice area. We frequent the area and have stayed in other cabins in this section which we have enjoyed. The check-in was easy and cabin was easy to find. We will not stay in this cabin again however as there were too many issues that we didn't expect from our previous experience in other cabins.While in general the cabin is common to others in the area in structure although the living room furniture is very aged and uncomfortable. The kitchen is adequately stocked with most kitchen items but some things are very aged and need to be replaced such as the coffee maker.The parking is very inconvenient. The cabin sits down the hill below which means you are unable to park close for loading and unloading. This was an issue for us with rain several mornings and made the move up the hill an opportunity for accidents.The bedroom downstairs is very dark and has no ceiling fan. Also, the bed is one of the most uncomfortable beds we have slept in as it is very old and hard.The bathroom is fairly normal and has a washer and dryer but the floor is different and would recommend for some that you wear shoes or slippers. Also, many of the towels are stained and ripped.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was ready on time, clean, and communication with the host was great. The cabin was private and had a back covered deck perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. The location was great with easy access to wineries and Floyd.
