The Space:
Golden Woods is a warm and inviting cabin tucked away in the trees that line the ridges of Shenandoah Valley. Enjoy the updated and fully stocked kitchen, spacious living and dining areas. Need a little more space? The detached ADU makes for the perfect group getaway with 1 queen bed. 1 twin bed and half bath. Perfect place to unwind. Whether you’re looking to get away with friends or need a place to work remotely, Golden Woods has it all.

Please note:
Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but given the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or other outdoor elements—especially during certain seasons. Nature has a way of leaving its mark, no matter how often we tidy up, and we appreciate your understanding.

Wi-Fi is provided, though service can occasionally be slower or spotty due to the remote mountain location. We recommend downloading any essential content in advance so you can fully relax and enjoy your stay.

We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).

Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close to everything we are -- Just 6 minutes to downtown New Market, VA. Interstate 81, and Route 11 with all its towns full of shops, eateries, historic sites, and other attractions. 20 minutes to Luray, VA, to enjoy the Luray Caverns, have a bite to eat, or continue on to Skyline Drive and the Shenandoah National Park.

This area of Virginia has so much to offer, and Golden Woods is the perfect place – whether you want to explore the area, or just cozy up around the fire and take in the sites. We’d love to host you!
