The home in real life looks every bit as stunning as the pictures depict, only even more so. This home is inviting, warm, intriguing, comfortable, accommodating, and was a thoroughly enjoyable home-away-from-home! We are so fortunate to have found it! We didn’t need anything that wasn’t provided. We hiked 3 days, played disc golf, shopped several times, worshiped at a local church, had some great food, and relaxed as well!

House was great!! Not a lot of restaurants or things to do. Would absolutely recommend the house. Beds were very comfortable.

The Stanley Milton house was a very enjoyable stay! The house was very clean and it was so neat to stay in. The town of Stanley was just a small mountain town but very picturesque and gives you a hometown feel. Everyone we met there was very nice and helpful. We went over to Luray and did the caverns along with the museums and the pioneer village that was at the caverns. Also was a small rescue zoo we went to in Luray and Cooters garage museum and store from Dukes of hazzard. We never did make it to try out the resort amenities at Massanutten but that is included in your stay of renting from trip forth! Our stay was just 3 days so we didn't find time to go. The only thing that couldve made our stay better wouldve been a few more pots/pans and spatulas but they do say if we needed any specialty kitchen things to bring with. We did not but figured there wouldve been a few more items to work with. I sent a text message asking a question and i got a response within the hour. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay with them again.

This was a very comfortable home to stay in. We have a large family and it accommodated all of us. There were plenty of bathrooms, comfy beds, and the kitchen was spacious. All my kids played the arcade games. In addition there is a cute coffee shop across the street.The drive to Luray is very quick. We were also able to drive up to do some hikes in the Shenandoah National Forest several days. I would very much recommended staying here! We had a great time.

We had an overall decent stay, but there were a few problems that affected our experience. The hot tub was out of service for our entire stay. We were notified on check-in day but never received any follow-up or resolution. It was a featured amenity that factored into our booking decision. One bathroom had a water leak issue - water leaked through the ceiling after someone used it. The visible stains suggested this was a known problem. We were told to avoid using that bathroom for the remainder of our stay. Toiletries provided were insufficient for our group size and weren’t distributed to all bathrooms.The game room was a hit - our group really enjoyed the foosball table and Pac-Man console. The house had nice decorating touches that made it feel welcoming, and we had a good time spending time together in the space.We reached out after our stay about these issues and requested a partial refund. The property management company was responsive and did process a refund of approximately 14% of our total cost. We appreciate that they acknowledged the issues and took some action.

The house itself is so awesome - beautifully decorated with a unique history! The location was great since we were attending a wedding at Brenwood Lake.
