Surrounded by forest, this cozy cabin features modern comforts, warm rustic charm, and a private hot tub perfect for unwinding under the stars. With a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living spaces, it’s an ideal escape for guests seeking relaxation, nature, and quiet in the beautiful Black Hills. Escape to our beautifully crafted cabin—built with love and completed in 2022. Every element was thoughtfully chosen to create a warm, peaceful retreat for our family and yours. Radiant in-floor heating keeps the space perfectly comfortable year-round, and on extra-chilly nights, the wood stove adds that perfect cozy cabin glow.

This place was perfect, just far enough away from Keystone and Rapid City to be close but secluded. If you’re looking to get away while you’re on vacation this is the perfect spot.

Had a fantastic stay at this property!!Communication with host was great and very timely. Condition of property is very clean and well maintained. A great place with a quiet wilderness setting. Located in a perfect location to visit all the area parks and attractions. Would highly recommend this property if you are wanting a clean, comfortable, quiet and well located place to stay!!

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is it! The host is amazing and responds quickly. The beds are extremely comfortable. The hot tub is perfect place for star gazing. Definitely will book again when we come back.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Black Hills cabin! The property was clean, private, and absolutely perfect for our family of four. One of our favorite parts was relaxing in the hot tub at night and enjoying the incredible star-filled sky.The location was also ideal—close to all of the major Black Hills attractions while still feeling peaceful and secluded. Sarah was a wonderful host, communicated very well, and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely come back!

This is a beautiful property! We loved every aspect of staying here. The location in the Black Hills is ideal. The house is immaculate and had everything we needed. The hot tub, garage, and setting provide plenty to do in between sight seeing. Wish we could have stayed twice as long!

This place was amazing. So well taken care of… all of the small details that you get at home. All utensils, nice toilet paper, nice towels, etc. Hopefully we can stay here again next year.

This home is an exceptional hidden gem located in a great location. The house has everything you would need for a short or longer stay. It is very private, but close enough to all amenities you would need. If you have a chance to stay at this house, I would recommend it.

Sarah is an amazing host. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of working. The heated floors and the fireplace was an absolute bonus!!! The cabin is the perfect place to go if you want to relax and enjoy nature.

Amazing cabin! Extremely clean, cozy and warmly inviting. Hot tub at the end of our adventurerous days was fantastic! Sarah was very helpful in her suggestions for outings and local food/ grocery shopping. We enjoyed our stay tremendously! Highly recommend!!

We absolutely loved our stay in this private, lovely house surrounded by beautiful forest. The hosts were wonderful and responded to our many questions right away. We stayed for a month, so managed to take advantage of the entire property. Our grandsons, who visited for a week loved the foosball, corn hole and darts in the garage that was more like a cabin itself. The hot tub was super clean and a great place to sit and watch the deer wander through the property. Really enjoyed the safe firepit (firewood geneously supplied) for our s'mores! We have been renting in the Black Hills for decades and this was one of the very best houses. Well located to town as well as the Hills attractions and hiking. The driveway turn off the highway was a bit daunting, but the only drawback I could mention. We hope to be back. Thank you Sarah and Eli.

Perfect Getaway!

We booked last minute and let me tell you, the pictures don’t do it justice. It is decorated to nicely and our kids loved having the upstairs all to themselves. It is close to everything but still secluded and private.

Black Hills - Spring Break 2025

My wife and I took our two teenagers to the Black Hills for an impromptu spring break trip. With a quick search, we found this outstanding place to spend four nights. This is the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed at, and I would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others. The location, cabin, hot tub and atmosphere are all 5 stars!

Perfect Home, Amazing Host, Great Location!

We absolutely loved staying at Sara's property! She’s a friendly, responsive host and easy to communicate with. The location was perfect—close to so many things we wanted to explore. The home had everything our family needed, with thoughtful touches that made it feel warm and welcoming. We gave 4 stars for cleanliness due to some mold on the master bathroom shower curtain, which we’re sure Sara would have addressed immediately if we’d mentioned it. Overall, we highly recommend this beautiful property and would stay again if in the area!

great black hills get away

The property was very quiet and relaxing with plenty of pine trees around to let you know you were in the hills but very close to highway for easy travel. The cabin was beautifully decorated, cozy, wonderful hot tub for evening soaks, fully stocked kitchen. Sarah was an exceptional host, very quick responses and left welcome gifts that were so thoughtful and caring. I would definitely recommend the cabin and the host.

Exactly what we needed

First impression…absolutely beautiful! The cabin, the grounds and the wildlife all around were absolutely amazing! Sarah was an amazing host! She communicated very well and accommodated our request for early check in. The cabin was spotless and very tastefully designed and decorated. We really enjoyed the fire pit table outside and the serenity all around us! Would give this place and host 10 stars if I were able to. Thank you Sarah for everything!

This was honestly our best Vrbo stay. Ever. The home is lovely and privately situated on so much land. Everything was clean and shown just as in the pictures. The beds were comfortable, the towels were luxurious, and the hot tub after a long day of hiking was perfection. We were able to explore the property, enjoy a campfire, and when the temps dropped and we had snow, we appreciated the already prepped wood burning stove to get the place nice and toasty. We had everything we needed and more. Sarah was a wonderful and responsive hostess. She made great recommendations from hikes to dining and we did so much of what she suggested. If you're coming out to explore this part of the country, I highly recommend this property! It was centrally located to so much. Our longest drives were to Devils Tower NM and Badlands NP but even those were w/in an hour and 15 minutes. We cannot recommend this property enough and are so grateful to have had it for our 8 nights in South Dakota.
