Great stay for family of 5

Great unit with a fantastic view. Four bedrooms gave the whole family space to spread out. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and dinners in. Pool area was great. Closest grocery was a fairly short drive, so pretty accessible.

Great stay in IOP

Very clean property, and the kitchen was especially well equipped. The unit is showing a bit of age but it was nothing that would keep us from returning. It was really nice that each bedroom had its own private bathroom.

The unit had a beautiful view and was very well stocked with 'extras' such as cleaning supplies, all kinds of appliances and cooking utenzils, and even a nice selection of spices, etc. that we could use which we wouldn't have needed to bring! The unit also had several beach chairs available to use (but we brought our own since we didn't realize we'd have access to any). It was a great unit and was roomy for two families. We had several maintenance issues specific to one bedroom and the maintenance guy stopped by quickly and were able to resolve or find a temporary solution.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! It's wonderful to hear the view made an impression and that the well-stocked kitchen and extras helped make your stay easier — we love knowing those thoughtful touches like the spices and beach chairs came in handy for your group. We're also glad the home offered enough space for two families to settle in comfortably. Thank you for your patience with the bedroom maintenance issues, and we're pleased our team was able to respond quickly and find solutions for you. We'd love to welcome you back the next time your families are ready for another getaway.

402 Summer House

We got real lucky with our 4 bedroom condo reservation with Beachside Vacations at an unknown location, but 402 Summer House, Isle of Palms, SC is a fantastic condo with the best ocean view anywhere! The entire condo complex appears well maintained and very clean with a great view of the ocean from all condo locations. The pool is also very clean and keep neat by staff, who work hard to make you a happy visitor and to enjoy your vacation. Our condo was spacious and 4 bedroom, each with a private bathroom. The appliances all worked well and the property is furnished very upscale throughout. We were impressed and will return!

Small details

Condo was nice and big but there was visible black mold around the air vents , causing some of us to get congestion and sore throats., also our dryer didn’t work !! We were able to use another unit to do lanundry which was helpful .. we had great sunsets, pool was very nice and beach access was also great . We lost out on our 250 credit because it had to be claimed within 24 hrs of checking in so that was a disappointment !!

Karen, Thank you for the review and we are so happy you enjoyed the condo. The vents will create condensation from the AC and exterior hot temperatures will will cause the mildew on the vents. We do apologize the vent wasn't wiped down prior to your visit, but luckily we did not have any mold in the unit. We also had to order a part to fix the dryer for the latter part of your stay and that was taken care of after your departure. We have also just had a large 90 day kitchen renovation in the unit, which you will be very happy with. Finally, the beach gear credit would need to be ordered at least 24 hours prior to your visit and is stated in the literature from VayK Gear, so we are very sorry you missed this option. Thank you again for your comments and we hope you will come back and see the improvements and take advantage of the beach gear credit.

We will be back!

I can't say enough about this perfect condo! So much room and so comfortable! All the comforts of home...the kitchen lacked for nothing! The pictures don't show the beautifully updated master bath...I came home with some new decorating ideas that my husband wasn't too fond of. Great location and view! I would suggest making sure you have enough pharmacy items as the island doesn't have a CVS or Walgreens!! Spent a few days in Charleston which is a short drive...beautiful city! Don't miss The Saltwater Cowboy...so much fun and good southern food. See y'all next year!

Wonderful beach vacation

Our family meets in the east every summer for some much needed beach time. (Which is 3 years overdue!!) This is our second time to Wild Dunes and first for this property. LOVED the location and space in this great condo. Every teen had their own space and we were even able to accomodate some additional family. Wild Dunes had great beaches and the proximity of this condo to the beach made this trip exceptional. We were able to make quick trips to the beach and back without issues. Loved the kitchen where I was able to whip up meals in no time to feed the clan. Great space, nice back deck where we could take in the evening light shows (heat lightning over the ocean, incredible sight!) Great stay and so easy.

Awesome Condo

We really enjoyed the condo. It had so much space - 4 bedrooms with their own bathrooms, plus an extra pull out sofa in the Master. The kitchen was nice and big, and we really enjoyed having two eating areas - the dining room and the kitchen. We also took advantage of the balcony, with beautiful views of the beach. Great condo. We'll definitely be back!

Fabulous beach condo

The condo has a perfect location to enjoy the beach and yet also close to all Charleston has to offer. The layout was perfect for four friends to have a private bedroom and bath, with spacious living, dining and huge kitchen to share. The condo was exceptionally clean, the kitchen was well stocked, there were ample bath linens and comfy beds. We will definitely stay there again.

Great vacation property

Beautiful and very well appointed condo with plenty of room. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Best well stocked kitchen we have ever stayed in. More than enough sleeping room for our family of 8. Very comfortable beds. Was ready at 4 as promised on a very busy weekend. Plenty of starter supplies. Only thing missing was only 2 hairdryers but we 5 females shared and wasn’t a real issue. Wonderful place!

Great location

Great property easily fit our family of 6 adults and 1 child. Loved sitting in the deck overlooking the ocean with a great breeze. Loved the short walk to the beach or pool. We rented lounge chairs and umbrellas that were set up on the beach every day so we didn’t need to carry much with us to the beach. Our dyer wasn’t working properly but maintenance came and cleaned out the vent and it worked great after that. We also had an issue with our internet and the maintenance man determined the router was bad so he brought us a new router the following day.
