Great location

Great location and community- right on the beach! My only complaint is this had 4 flights of stairs in this house from the base to the top- we had little kids and we had to give our boys the smaller room so our girls could be closer to us but they still weren’t on our floor. I just had an ankle injury before the trip so being on the top floor with all that luggage was quite the task. We loved the house and location just didn’t know it was going to have so many stairs. They also had a ton of beach toys and left cool Sunglasses and hat and bag those were really nice touches. Over all we enjoyed the house, it is pretty dated for the price but it was very clean and decorated nicely

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the great location and appreciated the beach toys and thoughtful touches. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the stairs, especially given your ankle injury and having young children. Your comments are noted, and we'll strive to improve them for future guests. We're pleased you found the house clean and nicely decorated overall. We hope you had a memorable stay and look forward to welcoming you back!

GREAT LOCATION, BELOW AVERAGE PROPERTY

Location is great for access to pool and beach. Views are amazing. However, the house was outdated and not in top shape, appears to not have been updated in 20+ years. Cabinets in kitchen were peeling, stained upholstered furniture, second level king room (wobbly toilet, no sink drain plugs, moldy tile on shower, rusty shower curtain rod, peeling paint on walls, saw a roach), outside grounds (garage and underneath house) poorly kept. As far as Wild Dunes, there was debris below the pool deck all week, ice cream shop in Pavilion not open, weren't permitted to use Sweetgrass pool (which had a splash pad for kids) because we were Pavilion guests, food and drink prices were exorbitant even for resort expectations. Lastly, WD should implement a vacant chair policy. Every morning at the pavilion pool, guests would place towels on chairs early in the morning, then leave, staking their place for the entire day.

Wonderful location!

We were here to celebrate my parents’ 70th wedding anniversary. This location was perfect for my own family (enough room for my husband & I, plus our 3 grown sons). We loved walking the beach several times each day (even though it was a bit chilly). We’d definitely love to stay here again!

Beautiful unit in a great location

We loved this property which is located next to the pool and has a great view of the beach with easy access. The living room is bright and comfortable with lots of seating. Well appointed kitchen, seating for 8 at the dining table. There is a bathroom for every bedroom which was a huge plus for us. Be aware that there are lots of stairs, first up from parking to the main level and first bedroom, then second floor has two bedrooms and the largest bedroom is on the third floor (4th if you count coming up from parking). The top floor king bedroom is bright and has a spectacular view down the beach from many windows. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Beachside Location @ Wild Dunes

This is an incredible location just off the boardwalk at Wild Dunes, 10 steps from the pool and another 10 steps to the beach. Fantastic ocean view, clean, and simple. We have already booked for same dates next year (no reason to look for a better place!)..

Great house with wonderful views of the pool and ocean!

We liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom. It has a nice kitchen with mostly the utensils, dishes and pots and pans needed. Eating area and living room has a nice arrangement of furniture for seating. We were very comfortable for our week stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

It was ok

I called and discussed all issues with the property with someone at Beachside Vacations. There should be a long note in my file. I own a property management company in Va. My interior furniture would never look the way this property did.

Great Location!

We came to Wild Dunes for an Adult Tennis tournament and this house was absolutely ideal. We could walk to the courts, but could also just step down 5 steps to be on the pool deck. The views of the ocean were phenomenal. House was very clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable!
