Mission Beach
This location was 2 houses from the beach and centrally located in MB. The location was great, however, the property is poorly maintained, outdoor furniture was beyond wo out and should of been replaced long ago! The property indicates it will sleep 16, but is outfitted barley outfitted for 8.The management company was called when we discovered the worn condition of the property and lacking amenities. We would have changed location, but there was nothing available on short notice. The management company assured us the cleaning crew had checked everything, but I gWet towels and sheets were left in the dryers by the cleaning crew. There were 2 dryers, we were only to get 1 to work, but it wouldn't dry clothes/towels so we ended up at the laundry mat to dry clothes/towels.There were no kitchen towels, sponges, etc. in main kitchen. Thank goodness for the Studio as we were able to scrounge towels, sponges and enough silverware to accommodate our party of 8 in the main kitchen.There was also a shortage of bath and beach towels. Additional towels were requested from management company and new towels were delivered that evening. Thank you for that.Beach toys, chairs etc. were minimal and several were broken. The outdoor shower didn't work but we emptied a storage tub to improvise a foot wash to wash sand off our feet before going back in the house.Basically we loved the location, but the amenities need to be updated and equipment should be in working order and clean.
