Welcome Home: Comfortable Home for Families, Pets, Remote Workers

We (Bill and Dory, 5-star Super Hosts on another site) furnished our 3-bedroom, one-story home with your comfort in mind. Located in Fountainhead, a safe, quiet neighborhood, kids and pets are welcome. High-speed fiber optic service will power your remote work in the isolated office, even when others are streaming or using the 65” smart TV. If you’re cooking meals for the gang or making a perfect cup of coffee or tea, you will find everything you need in our well-equipped kitchen. Enjoy a screen porch overlooking the fenced-in backyard. Enjoy free use of a large-capacity washer and dryer.

"You thought of everything we might want or need!" This is the theme of many of the comments we receive from our guests. From the kitchen, to the bathrooms, the laundry room, the games cabinet, the kids' room, or the back yard--every room of the house is well-equipped and well-stocked.

Three bedrooms: One has a king bed, a private office space with a twin daybed, and an attached bathroom with a stall shower. A second bedroom also has a king bed. The third bedroom has a full bed with a twin bunk above it and a roll-out twin trundle beneath. A pack 'n play is available. The third bedroom is set up for kids, but we can make it more adult-friendly if you don't have kids in your party. Let us know! We are happy to adjust our set-up to accommodate your family.

Our bedrooms feature comfortable beds, closets, dressers, bedside lamps with USB charging outlets, Alexa devices, and full length mirrors. Meticulously cleaned bedlinens are provided.

An isolated office, which is attached to one of the king bedrooms, has a twin daybed for an extra sleeping space. Our lightening-fast fiber optic Internet service (2.2 Gbps!) can be accessed through wireless Wi-Fi or an ethernet connection. We provide a desk, office chair, monitor, keyboard, webcam, printer, and a variety of cables and adaptors.

There are two newly remodeled bathrooms, one with a tub and one with a stall shower.

The large L-shaped common living area includes living room and dining spaces as well as an extra round table that can serve as additional dining space or a great game or puzzle table. Our 65" smart TV is mounted on a pivoting mount so it can be viewed from anywhere in the living room area, including the game table. You can cast and stream your own services or use our cable TV or streaming services.
We provide a wide variety of games, puzzles, and books for all ages, DVDs, two yoga mats, yoga blocks, hand weights, and exercise balls (small and large).

Our full kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and for coffee and tea. You will find oils, vinegars, condiments, herbs, spices, and baking basics. Our fabulously-equipped tea and coffee bar will enable you to brew your perfect cup just the way you like it. There are plenty of quality knives and pots and pans, as well as small appliances and gadgets. We have dinnerware, cups, bibs, and flatware for young children.

Enjoy the screen porch which overlooks the fenced-in back yard. We love sitting there on a summer night cooled by the ceiling fan. We provide backyard toys and games for kids, teens, and adults, an outdoor dining table, and a charcoal grill. The back yard is fully fenced for the safety of kids and pets.

Kids and pets are welcome and provided for. Ask us and we will send you an inventory of baby or pet equipment and supplies. Let us know about your pets and the ages of the children and we will have the appropriate equipment available (or stored out of your way if you don't need it).

The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. It's a great place to enjoy a stroll, a run, or a dog walk. Strollers are available. There are nearby public playgrounds, parks, restaurants, museums, shopping, golf courses, and ski slopes. Fountainhead Country Club is only a block away.

The house sleeps seven adults comfortably, but you could squeeze in as many as nine adults and kids, plus an infant in the pack 'n play.

Accessibility: All living spaces are on one level. There is a small step down (about 2") into the back bedroom suite (which includes the king bedroom, the office, and the bathroom with the stall shower). There are safety bars installed beside the tub and the stall shower. Also available on request: a portable safety frame for the toilet and a safety bar for a bed. There are two steps down from the kitchen into the laundry room and the back porch, but these areas are also accessible from the driveway without a step. Most doorways within the house are 30" wide and may not accommodate a larger wheelchair.

Outdoor accessibility: The approach from the driveway is a smooth sidewalk to the front porch--all level. There is a full step into the house from the front porch. A portable ramp is available upon request for this step. A breezeway connects the driveway to the screen porch (no steps, but a sliding door frame to step over). Also from the driveway, the fenced-in back yard is accessible without steps or significant slope.
