The only bummer was the swings in the picture were not assessable because termites had destroyed them but the owner had told me in advance that they were potentially going to remove them. The kids were a little bummed but they found so much adventure out there building forts with branches everywhere and loved our hikes in the rain. We went on multiple hikes all the way to the top of the hills around. The seclusion was amazing and beyond beautiful. It was breathtaking!!

Wonderful Stay

We are repeat visitors of this cabin and look forward to going again. The host is great to work with, the house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable for our whole family ages infants, kids, teens, all away to grandparents. Highly recommended!

Great family getaway!

Beautiful cabin with beautiful views! Was perfect for our family gathering. You will NOT be disappointed with this rental! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very beautiful location.

This house was the perfect spot for us looking to get away. It is nice and secluded even within the community it is in, and could not as for a more gorgeous location in the wilderness! Cabin was a dream

Luxurious mountain getaway

This beautiful house was perfect for our large family group. There were lots of activities for the kids and enough room for each family to have private space. Next to the national forest for snow play and hiking.

Great peaceful location

This cabin is located in such a beautiful area, bordering on a national forest, so quiet and serene with beautiful views of the mountainside and pond. The cabin is huge, with more than enough room for 15 people and is well stocked with everything you need. If you are looking for a place to unwind and connect with family in the white mountains this is it.

Amazing Cabin for a large family get away

The cabin/house is amazing, roomy and nestled in a beautiful location. We enjoyed snowboarding at Sunrise, fishing in Greer and hiking. There are a lot of rules regarding the community but we made the best of activities outside of the community.

Perfect place for our family of 17

Lovely home for our family to gather. We had a family from Vermont, Illinois, Utah and Arizona all come together. Great location for us to drive to some lovely hiking spots or hidden gems. Cabin was perfect and spacious for all families. We loved the big kitchen and dining room, where we could all eat and play together. Lots of good memories.

Thanksgiving Stay

The house was more than we could have asked for. Very clean and spacious. The pictures on the site do not do it justice. The only part that was frustrating was the hoops you had to go through because it is in a private gated community. But after you get through the initial stuff and get to the house it's very relaxing. The location is fantastic.

Thank you for your kind comments about the cabin. We hope your family will come again. For those considering a future stay, the community requires our guests to check-in at the community office upon arrival and given instructions about the community and cabin. The primary reason for this requirement is to provide additional security of all owners and guests due to the community's remote (yet beautiful!) forest location.

Cabin is gorgeous. View is amazing. Easily accommodated our group of 14. Dining room table sat 14 of us comfortably with room to spare. Game room was great and utilized often. Younger kids loved the swing set area. Jeff was easy to communicate with. Borders the National Forrest with beautiful walking trails. The outside grounds are not nearly as pristine or kept up as the photos make it out to be, but with the beautiful views we didn’t mind much. Community rules are strict. Community doesn’t approve of renters but this cabin is grandfathered in so they’ve restricted renters from doing anything in the community, even approaching the pond in the backyard, which was a disappointment for us all. No fire pit. Overall the positives far out weighed the negatives. We had a blast and Jeff was more than accommodating with directions or any help we may need during our stay.

Beautiful Property & Accommodation

It doesn't get much prettier. The amenities are amazing but most of them restricted for use. Everyone wants to BBQ but it is restricted and the seating is outdated and damaged. Most of the kitchen utensils and pot/spans are in poor condition making cooking hard to enjoy for a large group for which this stay can accommodate. Several things are in need of repair and for the rate should be in working order. I recommend bringing your own BBQ and your own cooking items to enjoy the remarkable location and housing.

A Cozy and Wonderful Cabin!

We are a group of four families, 8 adults and 6 girls (age ranges from 9 to 15). We rented this house for our ski trip to Sunrise Ski Park during Christmas time. The house totally exceeded our expectation and we enjoyed every moment we spent inside it. The room is spacious, luxurious, and even more beautiful and comfortable than the pictures shown. Our girls played Wii, ping-pong and pool on the second floor, and the moms cooked in the kitchen on the first floor. The kitchen is full of cooking utensils which can accommodate at least 12 peoples, we even found a slower cooker in one of the drawers! The cabin is warm and feels like a home. If you plan to come during winter time, be prepared for the unpaved 7 miles county road 1325, you will need to drive slowly and carefully since the road might be icy and has several sharp turns to Hidden Meadow Ranch. It took us about 20 minutes to drive on it to Hwy 260 one way each day. Other than this, the cabin is lovely and we highly recommend it.

Beautiful Cabin!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful & HUGE! Plenty of room to spread out with 9 adults. The huge dining table was awesome. The setting was amazing. Tranquil. Be prepared for 20+ minutes of rough gravel driving from the highway to the cabin. Once there, it is beautiful - yet limiting to stay just in the cabin on property. No trail access or walking on the street. In contrast to other reviews, we found the kitchen to be well stocked with utensils, equipment, & appliances (pleasant surprise). The kitchen needed more organization and cleaning before our arriving (mainly the cupboards). The cabin was primarily clean - especially the bathrooms. The ramada grills were old & had two heat settings: ON & OFF. Thankful grilling was available. A couple mechanical issues came up during the stay that we reported to the owner. The fireplace in the living room did not work. We were asked to google the instructions, which was time consuming. We concluded the remote box was inactive. The washing machine, too, stopped working. When we contacted the owner/manager, he apologized that he hadn't replaced it before our stay, knowing it was not working. Unfortunately, our clothes were locked inside in much water. After googling how to clear the error code, we retrieved our clothes, wrung them out & bailed water from the washer. Given the remoteness of the cabin, not much the owner can do with issues arising. Beautiful for star gazing! Other than these issues, our stay was very, very nice.

Wonderful property. Wish I had gotten information on additional charges for using the fireplace & the bar-b-q area & needing to reserve the grilling area because it was shared with other people. Otherwise it was an incredibly great stay.

The property was on point! Clean rooms, house! It was a beautiful property. Our family enjoyed the swings & all the games offered. We would definitely rent this property again.
