We have never written a poor review in over 25 years of staying in the Gulf Shores or Orange beach area. The condo is not well kept. The carpet and area rug were disgusting and dirty. The beds were hard as concrete. When we first arrived , not even time enough to put our luggage in the master bedroom, someone was coming through the door, they apparently had the key code did not knock and opened the door. Two men were there saying they were bringing us a blanket …. Which we did not request. So with other people knowing the key code to get in we did not feel very safe and neither of the sliding glass doors locked at all. All of this was communicated to the text number we had. Black mold around the shower soap dish and inside the shower knob. The refrigerator rattles because it is too tight in the space, when the compressor kicks on it is very loud. You can tell whoever owns this condo , does not keep up with it at all. Very sad because we love this complex. We will stay at this complex again BUT will never stay this one !

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was stocked with everything as stated in the listing. The beds were comfy and the property was very nice. It was the perfect location for my husband to be able to fish the jetties and I was able to lounge on the beach. Our beach attendant, Pate at Perdido Beach Service did an outstanding job taking care of everyone at the beach.

Very nice condo. Very clean. Really enjoyed sitting on the large balcony watching the boats going in and out of the bay. Only thing that could have been better is a shorted walk to the beach. Not a bad walk but for older individual's it can be a challenge. Overall, very pleased and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay at the beach

Great place to stay right on the beach. Childproofed well enough for my 2 year old. Lots of great restaurants nearby. We will most likely book again at this location. We had a great time!

You asked. TV’s - too small/no instructions. Furniture- uncomfortable. Pillows like a brick. If you are going to provide paper products spend a dollar or two more and get good toilet paper and paper towels. Shower appears to have mold around the base.

Quick downtime

We are fans of Grand Pointe. This unit had everything we needed. No issue's. Nicely furnished and clean. My wife is a clean freak and this unit passed the test especially the bedsheets. I would visit again.

Overall nice condo but could use some much needed updates.

Clean for the most part, furniture could definitely use a GOOD cleaning, desperately needs more cooking utensils (rubber spatulas etc), only had 1 pot holder(makes getting things out of the oven a little dangerous). Condo had a mixer but didnt have beaters. Definitely made cooking difficult. We had to clean out the water tank on coffee maker before being able to use as it had coffee grounds in it. More handicap parking would be nice. Toliets were VERY LOW to the ground for my older parents. Also, we were not given a code for the gate, it was not in any email or text communications. We had to find out from other guest. It could also use some updating throughout the entire condo. Indoor/out pools and hot tubs were nice. All in all nothing that would stop me from staying again but could use some improvements.

DO NOT BOOK THIS VRBO! What a mistake it was to book this property. I never book a location without reviews, but I did because the pictures looked promising. This was false advertising at it's finest.Let's begin with noting that there are no pictures of the outside of the home, that's because it's not kept up with. There are Christmas lights hanging from the home, a screen on the window that is falling, and a dilapidated home next door. Also note that the pictures showing the backyard do not represent what you will find yourself.Upon entering the home, there was a strong unpleasant chemical smell from whatever cleaning products were used to clean the home. The home had large black marks on the walls, sofas with stains, and honestly looked like a frat party had just come through. The beds were cheap Ikea style beds and furniture. The bedrooms all had exterior doors that lead to the outside of the home, which was a little concerning.The middle bathroom pictures don't show the large amount of mold and stains on the floor and edges. The kitchen has 2 microwaves, because one of them doesn't work. The straw that broke the camels back was when we went to shower at night. The towels had stains and hair on them, the sheets had blood on them, and the blinds had missing panels on both sides of the home (making the whole vibe a creepy one). We didn't even stay in the home. We left and booked a nearby hotel. Don't bother booking-stay at the hotels in the area.
