This was a great house for our family of 8 to stay. The kids enjoyed the pool and it was in a great location to get to restaurants and activities. Would definitely return!

A fantastic house with generous-sized rooms, very comfortable beds, a perfect ocean view, and a terrific location close to pier, parks, and restaurants. Super conscientious and responsive host who provided spot-on restaurant recommendations. Love also the main-floor access, elevated pool. Great for watching kids and ocean views during dramatic full moon. We will be back!

The house exceeded our expectations in every way! There was plenty of space for our group of 18, with more than enough fridges and storage to accommodate everyone. The pool area was perfect, with lots of seating for us to relax and enjoy together. The beds were very comfortable, and the entire home was spotless upon arrival. It truly had everything we needed for a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at LunaSea, the house design and its amenities are second to none. The ocean front property, pool area and view are impeccable. Everything you need is provided, we could not have asked for more. Thank for our fantastic vacation!

Our family really enjoyed this house. Sound does not travel from floor to floor. Beautiful deck to watch the kids swim and wonderful access to the beach

This house has a great layout for a family gathering. The heated pool is well cared for, and convenient to the 2nd floor. The house is clean. Most of the furniture is well used and some pieces are ready to be replaced. The electric stove heats unevenly- we found it worked best with an iron skillet that we purchased (and took with us). Marketing info does not mention the beach remediation project that prevents beach access. Please check the Kure Beach town website before booking this property to be sure the beach remediation project is completed. If it is ongoing, you will not have easy beach access, and will need to climb over a manmade dune built across a huge pipe.

Brenda, Thank you for your kind comments regarding your stay and the property. It stinks that the beach renourishment that was taking place down the beach from the house during your stay resulted in a 3 star rating. For future guests, please note that this project occurs every 3 to 4 years. In addition, the project is done differently each time. It just depends on how the Army Corps of Engineers determines how it should be handled and completed. It just so happened that this time around the sand was pumped from Carolina Beach and a large pipe extended the entire coastline in our towns. The engineers provided acccess points over the pipe in the form of sand ramps, Brenda has apparently had 3 knee replacements making it difficult for her to navigate. I’m really sorry that this was the case and I truly wish that we had some sort of control over it. Lastly, the Town of Kure Beach website is not necessarily the best resource. I’m happy to assist and provide as much transparent info, answering any questions. Brenda is the only guest at any of our properties that has had an issue with this, however , I respect her feelings and opinion. It is certainly not our goal to have guests vacation at any of our homes and not have as positive experience as expected. Jim

Overall, we had a wonderful family vacation. The home has a lot going for it. The location is fantastic, views are beautiful, and the layout worked great for our large group. We made a lot of wonderful memories and would absolutely say this house has the potential to be an excellent rental.That said, the property could benefit from a more thorough deep cleaning and some routine maintenance. When we arrived, several areas appeared to have been missed, including dirty floors, bath mats, the grill, coffee maker, cabinet fronts, and sliding door tracks. We also encountered roaches in the kitchen and living room despite a recent pest treatment.There are a handful of maintenance items that would make a noticeable difference for future guests, such as repairing the refrigerator water/ice dispenser and the half-bath faucet, replacing the worn pots and pans, fixing loose pool deck tiles, and adding a few more kitchen essentials like potholders, dish towels, scissors, and dishwasher rinse aid.None of these issues ruined our trip, and we actually ended up taking care of a few small things ourselves because we wanted the house to be as enjoyable as possible during our stay. The mgmt co. was responsive, and it’s clear that with a little extra attention to cleaning and upkeep, this property could easily become a top-tier rental.We’d give it a solid 7/10. We truly enjoyed our week, loved the views, and appreciate the opportunity to stay here. With more attention to detail we'd return.

We loved staying at this property - the location, layout, and communication with the host were excellent! The heated pool was constantly used and was well-maintained. The ocean views from the decks and pool were amazing! We appreciated all the refrigerators and kitchen amenities as we did plenty of cooking throughout the week. Jim was very responsive to any questions and minor issues that arose. Our first impressions were like our last - this is a clean, well-maintained property with immaculate views, convenient access to the beach, and a fantastic host!

This is the best prepared home we’ve ever stayed in. Plenty of cooking items for the amount of people you can fit in this home. Jim was awesome from the beginning, and the house was exceptionally clean. We had neighbors asking us about the house while on the beach - this place is where you want to stay.

All 10 of us enjoyed a great weather week at Luna Sea in Kure Beach NC.Pool was beautiful but could use a railing for safety. All the beds were very comfortable. Your house location is great! But we would like to recommend that the kitchen plates, bowls, frying pans and all pots be replaced. Kitchen faucet by window does not shut off the water continues to drip. Seat in downstair big room has a rip on right armrest. The LR couch and chairs have been well over used. We were an older clientele group and found the LR furniture very hard to get in and out of. And the LR sliding door to pool was too hard for some of us to open and close. It seemed like the slide was off the main track.Plater pot is broken as well.
