This rustic, 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat in the exclusive Dune Acres community offers tranquility, privacy, and breathtaking lake views, just one hour from Downtown Chicago on the sandy shores of Lake Michigan.

This home is perched atop a private hill, just one lot back from the beach. A private staircase down the backside of your hill leads you to a public beach path, only accessible on foot. You may have this section of the beach to yourself for your entire stay!

This home offers 3 simple, comfortable bedrooms - one queen and one double bed on the main floor, and one king bed on the second floor. Massive picture windows look out across the wooded property from the queen bedroom, while the double bedroom offers a seating area. A full bath with a walk-in shower completes the floor. A laundry room & extra fridge in the utility area complete this floor.
Head upstairs to the open living & dining room, with floor to ceiling windows, an enclosed sunroom seating area, and cozy kitchen.
Outside, you'll find a charming pond, seating area, grill, and parking for up to four cars in the driveway.

The community offers tennis & basketball courts, a playground, and another beach access point with permitted parking, within a 5-minute drive. Due to the owner's extensive library, you'll never run out of beach reads. For all of you writers & musicians - the quietude and inspiring surroundings make it the perfect place to spark creativity.

Due to town code, this home can only accommodate four reservations per year, so space is extremely limited. Open for stays of two weeks or longer.

Pet-Free Zone: To ensure a clean and hypoallergenic environment for all guests, pets are not allowed on the property.
Fire Safety: For the safety of all guests, fireworks are strictly prohibited.
Smoke-Free Property: Smoking is not permitted inside the home or on the property.
Parking: Please park vehicles in the designated driveway area. Parking on public roads is not permitted.
Age Restriction: To rent this property, guests must be at least 25 years old.
Climate Control: The home is naturally cooled by its lakefront location and dune-side construction. While central air conditioning is not available, the home typically remains comfortably cool throughout the year.
Window Coverings: Please note that the windows do not have full blinds. However, the home’s secluded location ensures privacy.
