Mark's place is top notch. The view! You won't be disappointed. We did have an issue with the air conditioner, but George who answered when we called about the issue was very much on top of the problem. The service man was there the next day and had it working enough that the rest of our stay was comfortable and mentioned that once we were gone he would be better able to finish the repair. There are often little issues like this in anyone's home. The important thing is how attentive they are to resolving the issue, I give them a 10 and look forward to staying here again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great sunsets. Close to shopping, beach and lagoon, restaurants. Minutes to Magic Island and Ala Moana Park for exercise and uncrowned beach access. Nice kitchen.

The location was great - walkable to the shopping center and all points on Waikiki Beach. Also great access for taking the bus. A fitness center pass was available for 8 a day. The AC worked fine and was much appreciated. The kitchen was very well equipped. The only thing I’d change is it would be more comfortable if the bed had a fitted sheet. So many hotels and other places use flat sheets for everything now - convenience I guess - but flat sheets pull out easily, wrinkle more, and are less comfortable. Otherwise a great stay at the Illikai.

Wife and sister holiday

All have been to Honolulu many times. The Ilikai is our favourite condo. Close to the beach, clean and handy for transit . The hotel has been our go to place over the years. This condo was clean and as advertised. Mahalo.

Perfect for our family

Happy as always to stay at the Ilikai. The kitchen was well stocked. The King bed was comfy with lots of pillows. The sofa bed could probably use a new mattress but it worked out fine for our 3 year old who slept on it. There were lots of towels and the air conditioning worked great.

Older unit but well maintained.

Check in was a breeze. Room was clean, closet doors would benefit from maintenance (always coming off track) as well as blinds(missing blades). Overall rental was a 4 1/2, may want to consider liquid hand soap and upgraded toilet paper. Never had time to cook or watch tv, but all needed items were there. Would look at renting again.

Well when we arrived it was hot in the apt. The blinds were not working the sun was shinning in which made it hot. We did get it fixed, the shower had mold, carpet was dirty. The stay after the blinds got fixed was ok view was beautiful. Lots of traffic i would suggest dont get a car.

Lewis stay

This is our 2nd time staying in this condo. We like this location very much, however; there were a couple of issues. 2x we showered and there was no not water. The dishwasher does not seem to work, the vent in the shower is filthy and the mop they used in the bathroom just left dried dirt and hair on the tile. We still love the location and would stay here agsin. I would like to see these little issues resolved for future stays.

A coupleobservations not complaint's. the stove knobs were not marked so you had to guess the temperature of the burner. The blinds needed to be repaired in place's (oddly enough a guy showed up just as we were leaving to replace the blinds. The single head AC system was a bit under sized and struggled to keep the room at a comfortable temp in late afternoon and into early evening but in all it was a truly nice place.

Great location and easy access to all of Waikiki. Unit is as advertised. We didn't use the kitchen for other than coffee, but it appeared to be well stocked. Good closet space with LOTS of hangers. I really appreciated the drying rack for swimsuits, towels, etc. on the lanai. Great views from the lanai. Also importantly to note, several conveniently located, and reasonably priced options for parking. We could always find parking (Secure lot charges 1 per hour!). The couple times I reached out to the host my emails were responded to quickly. The unit, specifically the bathroom, needs to be updated. There is no fan in the bathroom (so the reason for bubbling ceiling over the shower), the shower is old with what appears to be quick superficial repairs and mildew.The carpet has a few stains.But after saying that, I'd definitely return to this unit again.

Good location

I booked this property based on previous reviews which were all pretty good. However I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the condo. Yes, it is old and dated but it could use a serious deep cleaning. The floors were quite dirty in some areas and the rug could use a good steam cleaning. As well, the hide a bed was very uncomfortable and noisy with every slight movement. King bed was fine and linens were clean. The condo had what we needed although we didn’t do any cooking in there. The location is good with a really nice beach a short walk a way.

Love this place. Wonderful view, excellent location and perfect studio. Will def call again.

Large kitchen and bathroom, everything supplied but the food. The condo has island feel and so nice. Bed super comfortable and the lanai, fabulous! Had a great dinner at the rooftop restaurant, there is a more casual restaurant on ground floor as well as shops and a great convenience store. All staff I met were super courteous. Been to Oahu 8 times, but this is the one I'm coming back to.

50th Anniversary trip

Condo was pretty much exactly as represented. Would have appreciated a small supply of coffee to get us thru the first AM. Nothing stocked in kitchen other than salt and pepper. Unit a bit tired but very clean and comfortable.

10 Day Stay at 508

Was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the room was! Thank you to our host for supplying us with the necessities until we were able to shop. Everything was so clean and inviting! We had a great view of the water, the pool and of any festivities they had at certain times. This was a family vacation and so my daughter and I shared the king size bed and one night my 2 granddaughters stayed and slept comfortably on the sofa couch. Plenty of room for family of 4. When we were in our room (which wasn’t that often)…the AC kept us nice and cool. The patio blinds could use a little TLC but all in all, it didn’t take away from our wonderful stay here. Everything is within walking distance and there is easy access to the bus for transportation. Markets, restaurants, coffee shops all so close! If we ever make it back to Hawaii…I’m hoping to stay here again!! Thank you for the great memories!

Super place forever! Beautiful and very very convenient location also feel Hawaii lovely clean room! We love to stay here. This place so good, we want to stay more longer.finaly place has full of date whole month. I give 100% recommended! So good, so far♡ Host Mark was good responder! Same floor has coin laundry, 2nd floor has nice pool, also nice restaurant, pancakes&Cofee shop, yummy icecream, and very close to walk to the beach. stress free entrance and go to the room. 2 Abc marts close by, food groceries store near by, nice local food restaurant close by. Hawaiian(samoan's) favorite sweet 'Pani PoPo' has 2nd floor.it was so yummy! Bed lines were clean and king size nice firm bed!we love it! Everything so convinced place! We'd like to come back again!!! Highly recommended!!! Thank you, Mark!!!
