Bananaquit was an excellent experience for our group of 8. Lisa and the hosts were very welcoming and quickly answered all of our questions. The house is in a great location close to boat rental and restaurants.

We loved our stay at Bananaquit. The kitchen had everything you needed and then some. The location is perfect, and within walking distance to Seagrapes, which is a huge plus!!! We loved the quiet, secluded pool area. The hosts were amazing, addressing every need. It was so nice to arrive with fresh flowers and coconut bread! I can’t recommend Bananaquit enough!!! Thank you for an amazing week!!!!

This was our third stay at Bananaquit and it never disappoints! It is spacious and very well equipped. You cant beat the beautiful tropical grounds and sparkling pool. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect Green Turtle vacation house - location, spacious house, ocean views, and lovely pool.

This house is your best spot for a terrific vacation - the beautiful pool, ocean views, gorgeous! It has everything for your fun vacation and the property managers could not be more helpful to make your stay perfect.

Everything you need

Great location, easy to get to all beaches. Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Pool was wonderful after a day at the beach or for some needed shade. Landscaping was lush and well tended.

Beautiful property

The home exceeded our expectations, it is comfortable, roomy and fully equipped. The pool area is a tropical paradise and the views from the main level floor are spectacular (even though it is not directly on the beach.). The location is also very convenient. We’d love to return ASAP

Banannaquit

Lovely home, tucked back from the road, surrounded by vegetation. All the space our multigenerational family needed for gathering for games as well as grabbing a moment alone. Updated bedding, towels, plenty of hot water. Kitchen was very well equipped for cooking in, nice location to explore the island from. We are looking forward to returning to this special place.

Family Vacation

Great location and house. Everyone was really able to relax. My brother and family were about a 10 minute golf cart ride away in Coco Bay so we got to see two different sides of the island as well and have everyone at our spot for Christmas dinner in the pretty cool kitchen. Thanks!!

A little bit of paradise.

Great house. We were a family of 10 and this house was perfect for us. The beautiful beach good for swimming and snorkeling is just a two minute walk. Large eating area great porches. Pool is most welcome after a long day of being on the water! Great place would return in a heartbeat!

A Magical Place

We have stayed at Bananquit several times and each time we have a wonderful experience. This was no exception. We are thankful our favourite vacation home survived Dorian. Also love the new porch furniture!

Better than Expected

My family had the best stay at Bananaquit. The house was sparkling clean and well appointed with everything we needed for our group of 7. The pool is lovely and the location is perfect. Excellent communication before our stay and upon arrival. Fantastic service from the caretakers - they met us at the dock with an extra utility vehicle that held all of our suitcases and groceries. They also helped us connect with a great shuttle driver who picked us up at the airport, took us shopping and got us to the ferry on time. We cannot wait to go back.

Perfect house!

The house was every bit as beautiful as depicted on the listing. Mary is extremely helpful with travel tips, taxi help, cart rental, everything!! The house managers were great also. Thanks for everything!

Great House!

We enjoyed our stay at Bananaquit! The location was fantastic and the views were beautiful. The home is comfortable and well equipped. Julie, the property manager was very helpful! We had a party of 8. Four adults and four teenagers. Fun was had by all! We loved Green Turtle Key, we will be back!

Late April 2025 Bananaquit

This is a lovely house in a perfect location. From screened in porches to blue water views to a swimming pool to a white sand beach 100ft down the path, Bananaquit has great space to spread out and for coming together. We have been before and felt it was the perfect location to bring our adult children and their significant others. It worked perfectly. First rate management team that works out the details with you in advance and remains ready to respond if there are issues. Thank you for a really great vacation!

Perfect

The home and property are beautiful. The location is excellent with only a short walk to the white sand beach for swimming and/or sunbathing. The bay is gorgeous with reefs and abundant fish for snorkeling. The landscaping and pool area are immaculate. The property manager met us at the dock and made us feel at home. The island itself is laid back and relaxing. Every restaurant we visited had friendly staff and excellent food. We are looking forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Perfect stay on Green Turtle Cay

The Bananaquit home on Green Turtle Cay was just as beautiful as it appears in the pictures. The home has a well appointed kitchen that has everything needed, from many appliances, pots & pans, dishes, silverware, serving utensils, etc. The rooms are equipped with the most comfortable beds, plenty of linens and a good supply of beach towels. Everything is spotless and tastefully decorated. The Beach & reef in Bita Bay is just a short walk down a path, and perfect. Having a pool to ourselves was an added bonus, and nice spot to relax at after the beach. Julie & Leslie were available to meet us and very helpful throughout our stay. It was the perfect spot for our family of 7. We highly recommend a stay at Bananaquit in this beautiful Abaco Island!

Perfect get away

My girlfriend and I spent almost a week at Bananaquit this May and it was amazing. After a week of bone fishing on Andros, we arrived at bananaquit. It was amazing. Its a one minute walk down a private path to the beach where there are two lounge chairs for bananaquit guests. The house is very comfortable, and even has a built in expresso machine! There is so much room inside, that a family of 6-8 could comfortably stay there. The screened in porch has amazing view, and the pool was perfect, we spent hours in the pool. Edward the gardener kept the grounds and the pool in great shape. We had a relaxing and an amazing stay at bananaquit, I will definitely return to Bananaquit.

Amazing

Bananaquit House has everything we needed for a fun and relaxing vacation. We were a party of 10 that fit comfortably. The home is well appointed with all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is renovated and the gas grill was perfect for all the home cooked meals. The photos do not to this home justice. The beach is beautiful. The pool was great after a long day spent on the beach or the boat. The location of the home is perfectly situated in the middle of the island. A trip to town is a quick fun ride on a golf cart. This was a perfect family vacation. Paradise Found

Our stay at Bananaquit was wonderful. We have visited Green Turtle several times by boat but this was our first time staying. The snorkeling off the beach was beautiful. I highly recommend renting a boat or scheduling a charter to island hop and snorkel other reefs. Green Turtle is a gorgeous, peaceful island with lots to explore by golf cart. Plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and indulge in an island cocktail or two. The house was well stocked and had plenty of space. We cooked most dinners there and ate around the large round table. We brought spices but were pleasantly surprised by the large assortment they had on hand. We always bring a cooler of meat from home and purchase the rest of the food on the islands. This trip we were fortunate to have some fresh lobster and fish to add to our meals. If cooking’s not your thing there are restaurants within a short golf cart ride. The family room had ample seating and the house itself had lots of room to gather or spread out. The porch extended around half of the house providing beautiful views of the water. The pool was heaven after a day of salty snorkeling. The management was very helpful providing contacts for taxi driver, boat, golf cart rental and so forth. These contacts were also helpful in coordinating the timing of the ferry, our arrival and golf carts. We stopped in Marsh to grocery shop only to find Sids on GT had everything we needed. We really didn’t need to lug so much stuff on the ferry and carts. The house lost power at one point but the generator kicked on immediately and we didn’t skip a beat. We loved our stay and look forward to returning. Thank you for opening your home up to us that we might enjoy a week of island life.
