Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We're truly sorry your stay didn’t meet expectations, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. That said, we’d like to clarify a few points you raised. When you messaged us Tuesday night, we responded immediately and offered to help in whatever way worked best, but didn’t hear back. We always encourage guests to continue the conversation so we can assist in real time. The bathroom dryer just needed to be pushed in slightly to close the door, we tried to come fix it but didn’t receive a response. Regarding the black sand, we weren’t able to access the unit during your stay but checked into it right after. We take cleanliness seriously and offered to send someone to address the mouse droppings, again without a reply. Regarding our team entering, there was a nearby kitchen fire and in the rush to check on everyone, we mistakenly approached the wrong unit. I appreciated being able to explain this over the phone and again, we’re very sorry for the alarm it caused. We wish we’d known about the neighbor noise sooner so we could step in. The laundry room work was done during daytime hours to avoid disrupting guests. As for the police activity, the area is generally quiet and safe despite recent road construction nearby. We’re updating our photos to reflect recent improvements and truly appreciate you pointing that out. Again, thank you for your honest feedback and for staying with us.

Hello Kristi!!! Thank you for such a great review. We let the team know every day we get one and this is one of the best! We are glad we could provide everything for you and to make your experience a great one here in Oneonta/Cooperstown. Tell your friends and clubs about us. Thanks!

Hello Karyn, we appreciate all reviews and thank you for the positive feedback as we take these very seriously! Of course we strive for 5 star reviews at all times and our cleaning team has had many great reviews, especially at your location. We follow up the day after move in about any concerns or needs to ensure the highest possible experience for our customers. We ask to be notified immediately if the cleaning does not meet your standards (i.e. smeared SS fridge and corners of trim), so we can address any concerns. We did not hear from you the day of move in, the day after when we sent a follow up, or at any time during the week, so I do apologize that we were unable to send the cleaning team back, though I assure you we would have. In terms of the age of the house, almost all homes in and around Oneonta / Cooperstown are older which is why we do updates to the interior/exterior as you can see from our pictures and why you booked the apartment. Oneonta is an extremely safe town; and as you noted the location of the house is perfect. But of course, walking alone at midnight in any town isn't advisable. I also completely understand your frustration about the construction directly outside on the road, however please know that the construction was being done by the City of Oneonta and out of our control. Thankfully the construction is done now. Again, I am glad you had a great vacation and wish we could have helped you more!

Thanks Kenneth! We try to make the process as easy as possible for everyone so you can enjoy whats important most! Communication is key. Come back anytime!
