We had a nice stay overall. The location was excellent—within walking distance of Safeway and Broadway Plaza. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. The kitchen was also well stocked, and the host provided clear instructions and was responsive.There were a couple of issues that could be improved. The shampoo and shower gel bottles were empty, which was inconvenient to discover at night when we needed them. The bathtub drain was slow, and my father had to pull out a significant amount of hair from it.Overall, a pleasant stay with a few easy fixes that would improve the guest experience.

Fantastic find!

This home was perfect for us. They have taken a lot of care in preparing it for guests. The kitchen had everything we needed. With the weather warming up, the AC helped keep everything comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

The duplex is perfectly located in Walnut Creek.A short (though slightly hilly) walk brings you into the heart of downtown with easy access to parks, restaurants, and shopping. Travel to the BART station is about a 20-minute walk—pleasant enough—but the location also offers convenient freeway access whether you’re heading south toward San Jose or north to San Francisco or Napa.The unit itself is clean and minimal yet feels spacious, with beautiful views from the back patio. There’s plenty of outdoor seating in both the front and back patios, which made relaxing outside a highlight of our stay. The hosts were also very responsive and quick to address any issues that came up during our visit.

This was an incredibly clean, well stocked, well located home. The host was very responsive to any questions that we had. The property is located within a short, walking distance to an outdoor mall and grocery shopping. I was very impressed how well stocked this property is. Every detail was accounted for. It was also very comforting that the home is located in a very nice neighborhood. The view out the kitchen window is incredible. I couldn't recommend this property enough. We stayed there with our family and each of us agreed that we would love to use this property more.

We had a nice stay with 3 adults. Home is well appointed with everything we needed. I really appreciated the extras like trash bags, dish soap, coffee pods, paper towels etc. Easy access into San Francisco and many restaurants/shopping nearby. Home has 2 smart tvs and several games the kids will enjoy. I worked remotely while there, small desk in living area worked out great. There are several closets with lots of usable space. Shell Ridge is nearby, lovely hiking area with great views. The back porch is great for watching the sunrise. It rained a lot while we were there, no time to enjoy back patio area, but it is a nice space. Neighborhood is very peaceful, this is a duplex but it was very quiet. Super easy check in/out. The host had great communication and was very friendly and accommodating. For the price you really can’t beat it!

This was a two-bedroom duplex with only one neighbor who we never saw. It was so peaceful in the neighborhood. It was perfect for us because we were looking for *quiet*. I recommend this for a place to camp out and work on a book or manuscript. It's better than a cabin in the woods because you can walk to civilization and access amenities.The house is not fancy but it feels like a home. The dish sponge and paper towels were new, soaps dispensers were full, and there were lots of pillows and towels for use. There were thoughtful touches from the host, like little snacks and water bottles, along with bigger things like hooks where you expect to need to hang things (even hotels get this wrong!). I was worried when I saw the lack of sidewalks in the immediate area, but later realized there are few cars traveling on the road and it felt safe walking around. The downtown is maybe a 5-7 minute walk from the house, and sidewalks appear pretty quickly along the route. There is a lot to do downtown: shopping, restaurants, massage, etc. We had excellent Persian and Greek meals while in Walnut Creek. This is one of the best food trips we've done in a while.Our nervous pup who never stops pacing in hotels was able to settle shortly after we arrived. This is the calmest I have seen him on a trip. We did some quiet neighborhood walks, a couple of quick potty breaks in the backyard, and lots of relaxing.Finally, the host was lovely and had great communication.

We’re so happy you found the home to be peaceful and relaxing—that quiet neighborhood is one of our favorite things too. It was wonderful to hear that your pup was able to settle in and enjoy the stay as well. Knowing both our two-legged and four-legged guests feel comfortable is the greatest compliment.
