This cozy, clean, well-appointed lower-level guest suite is conveniently located in the coveted University District, just a short walk from our campus. In addition to being so close to The University of Montana, guests will enjoy proximity to the Riverfront and our ever-vibrant, bustling downtown, featuring all the best of Missoula. Our place allows you to optimize both your rest and play in our lovely city.

I’m happy to interact with guests as much or as little as they like. My top priorities are guest privacy and space to make their vacation their own. The University Cottage is well-suited for the experienced-minded urban explorer who wants to be a stone's throw from The University of Montana, Adams Fieldhouse, Washington-Grizzly Stadium, and the best of Missoula's downtown.

This home is located on the edge of The University of Montana Campus, less than two blocks from the Oval.

Wide boulevards, tree-lined streets, and craftsman homes characterize the area. This area also features proximity to a beautiful mix of parks, schools, churches, and businesses.

Stroll six lovely, tree-lined blocks through a historic neighborhood to the Clark Fork River, Hip Strip and Downtown

The entire lower-level apartment is dedicated to your quiet enjoyment during your stay. You'll access via a private, dedicated entrance with self-check-in and keyless entry.

The homeowners observe quiet hours upstairs to respect guests.

This listing is for the 2-bedroom guest suite in the main house's basement. The basement has its own entrance, so you enjoy complete privacy.

The living room is nicely separated from the rest of the space, either to contain television noise or to serve as a secluded space to read and relax. Seating for 4 includes a comfortable loveseat and two reading chairs - one strategically placed in front of a window for those who enjoy reading by natural light.

The eat-in kitchen offers a full-sized range and fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and the usual assortment of essential tools, spices, and oils needed for simple meal prep, plus coffee & tea for lovely, lazy mornings—and seating for 4 in the dining nook.

A spacious bathroom includes a double vanity, shampoo & conditioner, body wash, commonly forgotten toiletries, and an ample supply of towels.

In the bedroom, guests will enjoy pillows for propping, variable lighting, uncluttered storage, and professionally laundered bed linens enveloping a comfortable queen-sized mattress for a restful sleep.

A bright, clean, full-sized laundry room is also available for guests.

We observe quiet hours upstairs to respect our guests, and we realize some folks may be light sleepers. Earplugs are provided upon request, and each bedroom has a fan for additional white noise.

The city bus regularly runs on Arthur Avenue near the house and will take you anywhere in the city. Walk, bike, bus, Uber/Lyft, or drive anywhere with minimal effort.

Please be advised that we can't accommodate 3rd party bookings. We require all personal travel reservations to be booked by the guests themselves. Please add all guests to your reservation at the time of booking.

On some platforms, you can book for our colleagues or employees (ie. Airbnb for Work). Please reach out with any questions and we'll do our best to assist you.

** Please note this is a lower-level space. Noise will inevitably travel between the two levels of the home. We observe quiet hours upstairs to respect our guests and realize some folks may be light sleepers - earplugs are provided upon request and we are also happy to supply a fan to provide some additional white noise.
