When you arrive at the property the house is secured by a manual sliding gate. Once you enter you will find parking under the carport next to the house. This renovated 3 bedroom 1 bath has all the essentials you need to enjoy your stay. Can't find something? Let us know. The kitchen is fully stocked with a fridge, oven, stove, coffee maker, microwave, plateware, glasses, mugs, pots and pans and cooking utensils.

Relax in the living room, with our smart LED TV, ceiling fan with powerful WIFI and ability to access your popular streaming platforms (e.g., Netflix, Hulu)

Each bedroom can sleep 2 with a queen sized bed and a closet along with an AC unit. The primary bedroom is equipped with a walk-in closet. Linens are provided.

Please note there is also a washer and dryer available guests have access to (storage room in front of the carport)

Beach chairs, beach and bath towels are also provided. Please do not use the bath towels for the beach. Other things to note: City of Dorado

We do suggest renting a car during your stay to get around. Catching an Uber to Dorado is fairly easy, but getting an Uber from the neighborhood while doable can be challenging when trying to leave the city.
*Please note, there is an Enterprise right in the middle of town which is less than 2 miles from the property. They can pick you at the house.

Neighbors
As a reminder, our maintenance man lives across the street as well as owns the property/land next door with his family. He is very friendly and responsive. If you have any problems with the property during your stay please do not hesitate to reach out to us :).

Your neighbor on the other side of you is an older woman who makes homemade icees well known on the island as ‘limber’ that many neighbors and the kids love and enjoy if you want a local homemade treat! This property is tucked away in the Mameyal, Dorado neighborhood that is simple, modest and safe. This is an authentic Dorado neighborhood with humble respectful residents.

Wildlife
Our neighborhood is home to local cats, dogs, chicken and roosters who are cared for by our neighbors and contributes to the charm of our rural setting. Additionally, guests may encounter local wild life such as colorful birds, lizards, and horses. While these animals and wildlife typically remain outdoors, guests should be aware that you may see them or observe them during your stay.

Power outages
We'd like to inform you that as a small tropical island, Puerto Rico occasionally experiences power outages due to its unique geography and infrastructure challenges. These interruptions can occur, especially during extreme weather conditions. If electricity goes out it usually will not take to long to return. Please note, no refunds/discounts are given if power outages occur.
