Spacious, clean and comfortable!

This was a great find for our family! Very comfortable, clean, everything we needed and plenty of spaces to spend time together or tuck away for rest between outings. Host was very communicative and helpful.

We loved staying at this property. Plenty of space for a big family both inside and outside. Would be nice to have additional bathrooms, but understand the house was not built that way.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The house had all the comforts of home. Trisha was very helpful! She let us go ahead and put our groceries in the fridge when we arrived earlier than check-in time. She also provided some great info on jeep trails and other area info. When we discovered that the propane tanks were empty on the grills, she brought new propane tanks the same day. I would have rated it excellent, but you were required to take your trash and dispose of it (don't want to attract bears). We had a hard time finding a dumpster in the area that was not padlocked.

First of all, South Fork was amazing! The home, on the other hand, was not.The listing specifically stated that the property had air conditioning, but in reality, it only had a swamp cooler, which is not the same thing which Vrbo completely agreed. When we arrived, I called the owner to ask how to turn on the AC. She told me that homes in Colorado do not have AC and became argumentative for no apparent reason, so I decided to let it go. The next day, she sent me a message asking if I needed her to bring me a thermostat, which came across as sarcastic and unprofessional.Secondly, I had informed her via text message before our arrival that I am a disabled veteran and travel with a service dog. After I raised concerns about the lack of AC, she attempted to tell Vrbo that I had an unauthorized pet and wanted to charge me an additional 360 cleaning fee. Thankfully, I had saved our text conversation showing that I had disclosed my service dog in advance and that she had acknowledged it and said it was fine. I was able to provide that information to Vrbo to dispute the charge.Overall, South Fork was beautiful, but the homeowner was completely unprofessional and difficult to deal with. The house was uncomfortably hot at night, and the inaccurate listing combined with the poor communication made for a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this property to others.

Unfortunately, that is not an accurate account. The man was screaming at me on the phone when I first answered. I did offer to bring a thermostat not to be sarcastic but to be aware of the actual temperature inside the house. I have built 28 houses here in South Fork and not one has A/C. So, I do have a hard time believing that "every year" they rent a home with A/C. My other reviews speak to my professionalism. The owners took a photo of the service dog on their camera. No service vest. I had forgotten about the service dog as a fee is still required to bring a service dog and that was not paid.
