Floors wasnt very clean had several lights not working , ice maker broken , Loose faucet in kitchen , pool dirty , smoke detectors randomly went off dust all over needs furnace filters changed

We reviewed the concerns mentioned with our cleaning and maintenance teams. The ice maker was operational during the stay. While the display screen was not functioning properly, the control buttons and ice-making functions continued to work. Our team also found one blown bulb in a bathroom. A damaged dryer duct was identified and replaced immediately. When the alarms were reported during the night, our maintenance supervisor responded to the cabin. The carbon monoxide detectors were beeping because the gas line to the fireplace had been turned on without the pilot being lit. Fireplace gas lines are shut off each April and remain off throughout the summer until they are turned back on in October. We are not sure how they were turned on, but this was the source of the issue. The surround sound system was also checked and found to be working. Our technician confirmed that a personal device had been connected to the system and that the audio was working appropriately. We have shared the comments regarding the floors, dust, pool condition, kitchen faucet, and furnace filters with the appropriate teams for further review.

The host were very responsive when I needed to contact them. The kids enjoyed the game room, the pool table and the theater. Even with it being 93-100 degrees outside the pool was terribly cold. When I contacted the host I was told it was within range. By Friday half of the water in the pool was gone but the kids did not want to get in anyway since it was too cold. Small things like upgrading the shower heads and putting lights above the hot tub would elevate the cabin. Overall a great place to stay and not far from activities.

We’re also pleased the cabin’s location made it convenient to enjoy the area’s attractions. While we were contacted during the stay, we did not receive notice that the pool was losing water or that its water level had dropped significantly. The temperature and water-level concerns were later traced to a leak, which has since been repaired. Had the water loss been reported while you were there, we would have been happy to investigate and address it during your stay. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding the showerheads and additional lighting near the hot tub. Overall, we’re happy to hear you considered the cabin a great place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The amenities were a big hit for the kids. I will say the pool was not heated as we would have thought. It definitely was cold and the kids wouldn’t go in it. The hot tub we were able to access it on day 2 as it was not heated nor on the heat setting when we arrived. The place was overall clean. We did have the perfect little alarm clock every morning around 0830 of a robin who insisted on pooping all over my Tahoe and throwing himself into the window of the room we were sleeping in The game room and theater room was a huge hit. We definitely will keep this place in mind for future stays.

Great house

The house is great, clean and everything you need is there. The check in and check out process are well done and easy to follow. Plenty of space for a big family. The pool and the hot tub are a plus, especially after a day of hiking or exploring the area. The pool table was a nice addition to our stay, too! We loved the quiet neighborhood!

FAMILY VACATION

Kitchens were equipped with all the necessary items needed to make your stay excellent. Indoor pool was pretty big to accommodate the entire guest in my trip. Only the concern was the propane tank which was little greasy. Besides that, I have overall great experience. Must try Cherokee pool lodge! You won’t be disappointed.

Rented through Christmas for a Christmas present for the grandkids. Pool was unusable to cold maintenance working on it when we arrived and had to refill due to worn gaskets and leaking. He advised me to contact host since pool would not be heated for our stay. I did this but nothing was ever addressed on this issue. This made my grandkids unhappy. I was unhappy due to the extra price I had paid just for the pool. It was a nice cabin being elderly. Just beware there are alot of steps making game room and theater room off limits to those not able to do steps. Pots pans scratched up may want to tote your own.

Lots of space and budget friendly!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked our trip late December online. We stayed Sunday-Friday. Finding the location was not an issue and we were supplied all the codes that we needed to enjoy all the areas of the home. We did see some evidence of past visitors, a beer bottle in the movie room, one by the hot tub, and bottles that looked to have been thrown over the railings of the deck. A Lego was found on the carpet of the stairs to the pool. Over all it was minor so I did not alert maintenance. I did call maintenance because we wanted to use the grill and the propane tank on the grill was empty. I was called back within 5-10 minutes and given the lock code with no issues. It’s a lot of house which was nice. We enjoyed the pool table, games, pool, hot tub and theater room. Some of the furnishings in the home could definitely use some updating but over all, I am pleased with what we experienced for what we paid.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Used bandaids (plural) were left surrounding the pool prior to our check in. The heater on our pool broke on Tuesday night of a Saturday-saturday rental. I called this in at 9PM after a full day of Dollywood. Valerie with bear tracts had a tone I did not care for, speaking snarkily about my desire to go to bed at 9:30 rather than wait for her maintenance man to flip a breaker. Rude and disrespectful- shame on you, Valerie.The maintenance man told me we would hear from bear tracts the next day regarding the pool heater replacement. We never heard back and so the pool was only usable half our stay. Other things like the place needs new flooring NOW. My elderly mother was with on the trip, and the LVPlanks are peeling up everywhere and creating a a trip/fall hazard, especially when using a walker. Overall this place could be great if it was given some attention- and if they hired better customer service employees - looking at you, Valerie.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very large and had lots of space for a large group. When searching for a cabin in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area I some how missed that this cabin was a 40 minute drive away. We were disappointed that when we arrived the pool wasn’t up to temperature and was extremely cold. We could feel warm water coming from the jets so we knew they must have turned the heater on before we arrived. It took 24 hours to warm up, but the temp they had it set on was still extremely cold. A few more degrees would have made all the difference.

Its unfortunate to get this review. The guest had no issues with our cabin in any way, none, nada, nil..... until he forgot his personal belongings on the departure day. Our cleaning team had recovered his laptop and they were dropped off to be shipped back to him. The guest didnt like this and became very aggressive. He wanted us to go pick up his items from the shipping company and drive to meet him with his belongings. This review is the result of the guest not taking accountability to care for his own items.
