Summary:
Imagine having the privacy of your own little piece of paradise — that’s exactly what you’ll find in this uniquely located condo. Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced in accordance with local ordinances. Situated at the end of the building with stunning ocean views over the bay, this spacious unit features a tropical design and upgraded comforts.
The Space:
Some of the amenities include a fully stocked, good-sized kitchen, beautiful Hawaiian Koa cabinetry, and a large master suite with a king bed, dual sinks, separate shower, and soaking tub. The guest room offers 2 twin beds which can be made into a king (please advise at time of booking). A washer and dryer, central air conditioning and high speed cable internet access is also available. Truly resort living at its best, including covered parking only steps away from your front door makes for a perfect holiday!
THINGS TO NOTE:
- We provide 2 beach chairs and 1 cooler for guest use. Beach towels are available for guests.
-The air conditioning system is programmed to maintain a minimum temperature of 75°F.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property, on the premises, and in any nearby common areas. Violations will result in an automatic $500 fine, plus any additional costs for carpet and upholstery cleaning or other damages caused.
- The minimum age limit to book is 21 years of age.
- Guests are required to register at the Kanaloa front desk and pay $25/day Resort Fee upon arrival at the front desk.
- Please be advised the Ocean Pool will be closed from May 1 through 20 for resurfacing. The Quiet Pool and Main Pool and spas will be available during this time. Pool Tile Restoration Project May 26 - 29. We will be stripping the pool deck tiles and sealing them to bring back their original color. The pools will be closed for one full day to complete this project.
Other Things to Note:
This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

The condo was in great condition, all amenities one needs for a perfect vacation BUT the cherry on the top was the incredible view from the Lanai.

As noted in the arrival instructions, checkout time is 10:00 a.m. Once we became aware that you were locked out after returning to the unit past checkout time, our team worked as quickly as possible to generate and provide a temporary door code so you could retrieve your belongings. Everything you need including a great ocean view
This place was a wonderful way for us to finish off the last couple of nights of our Big Island vacation. Very clean and comfortable, private with a stunning view of the ocean and bay. Kitchen is well equipped, air conditioning was lovely, and WiFi access was easy. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us!

Lovely Stay
The condo has a beautiful view of Heie Bay. It feels very private as it is the first condo on the left side of the property (when entering) so limited neighbors. Quick walk to the beautiful Ocean Pool to read and watch whales. Main suite is very large while second bedroom is very small.

AMAZING
This condo was AMAZING. The recent updates are fantastic and the views are simply marvelous. My wife and I have visited Kona the last 3 years and all of our stays have been at the Kanaloa Condos and this one will be our 1st choice from now on.

The AC was not functioning. The management was aware but did not bother to fix it. When we entered fans were on, which was an attempt to mask the disfunctioning AC. The temperature was 81 at night and not possible to sleep. This listing is inaccurate they a claim to have air-conditioning, but it is broken. As per the maintenance person, the compressor has failed and they were asked to replace it weeks before our checkin.

Your comfort is very important to us, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. The unit had recently undergone AC maintenance, and at that time no issues were identified. Once the problem was reported during your stay, our AC vendor inspected the system and informed us that the compressor had failed. Beautiful condo and location
As advertised and as nice as the photos. We swam in the pools and played tennis and walked to little public beach seen from lanai. Also short walk to Keauhou bay. Great location to base out of for many activities. The only minor issue was an extremely stinky refrigerator at check in, but management staff was quick to respond and clean the fridge. Mahalo!

Beautiful views! Easy beach access
The pictures don’t show the views as good as they are in person. Beautiful! The access to get to the bay was easy once we figured it out. Some minor issues with sinks not being clean but an easy oversight and not a big deal. Overall the place is amazing and we enjoyed our time there.

Truly a home away from home!
We were VERY PLEASED with our stay! This condo had EVERYTHING we could want or need to feel at home in Hawaii. The views are unmatched!
My husband, who is VERY hard to please, commented multiple times at how well stocked the kitchen was and how the owners have thought of EVERYTHING (to include USB chargers in the bedroom!). We wanted for nothing. I wish I had asked before traveling, because I packed snorkeling gear and beach towels, which we didn't need to do (you should list these amenities because they're wonderful features!). The kids loved the sand toys and pools, and I loved the shower (and was pleasantly surprised to find even some shampoo and conditioner stocked in the bathroom).
CONS: As other reviewers stated, the noise from upstairs neighbors can be heard and the twin beds are hard, but the kids didn't seem to mind.
We would DEFINITELY return here. Really enjoyed our stay! Great for a family of 4 with young kids.

Amazing view on the Ocean
This condo is beautiful and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is pretty and you will have anything you need. The showers are wonderful with nice towels and the resort is heavenly with 3 pools and hot tubs.
This is what I didn’t like: The second bedroom beds are very uncomfortable. If you aren’t a child, you will wake up with achy pains. The unit requires you to launder the towels. The washing machine and dryer are small. So washing and drying is a all day feat. It takes two hour sessions to dry the towels. And that is two loads. It is super noisy, so you can’t wash and dry at night. So that is six hours of laundry which seems ridiculous to do on a vacation.
It would be nice to have some mini shampoo and conditioners as well has better quality toilet paper.
The unit was cleaned well, but the main couch arm was filthy and water stained. The cushions were somewhat dirty too. The
The amazing porch and beautiful art pictures made up for the dirty couches. The condo It is very homey and cottage like.
I might come again if new mattresses were bought or just memory foam mattress toppers would go along way for comfort.

Pictures can be deceiving
We've stayed at this property previously (two years ago) and loved it. Not so this time. On the surface, the place looked the same, but once we were there for a couple of days, we noticed how truly dirty and worn it was. The couch was covered in stains, the furniture was grimy, the sheets were thin and the bedding worn. The doors, walls, carpet... all filthy. We took a few pictures and forwarded them to the management company. We were told that because we didn't notify them within the first 24 hours, they weren't sure what they could do (what???). We left four days early. Will not be returning.
