Great little spot in a great neighborhood. Loads of amazing restaurants and bars and shopping within walking distance. Check in was super easy, and the host was available if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again!

Achtung- nicht buchen!! Wir haben das Apartment 6 Monate vor unserer Reise gebucht und bezahlt. 3 Tage vor der geplanten Anreise haben wir auf unsere Anfrage bezüglich Check-in keine Antwort erhalten. In New York angekommen, haben wir natürlich erneut angefragt, wie wir in unser gebuchtes Apartment kommen. Die Vermieterin hat uns dann schriftlich mitgeteilt, dass sie unsere Buchung storniert hat - es wurde uns kein Grund genannt. Am Tag der Ankunft zu stornieren, ist eine bodenlose Unverschämtheit und grenzt an Unmenschlichkeit. Wir mussten uns akut eine neue Bleibe suchen, wodurch erhebliche Mehrkosten entstanden sind. Den Stress in New York auf die Schnelle eine neue und insbesondere bezahlbare Unterkunft zu finden, wünschen wir wirklich niemandem!

Property was as described. John was very good with communication and the check-in was smooth. He was there to help us check-in. Would stay again when in NYC.

Conveniently located apt in East Village - just what we needed for a long weekend in NYC

Our group had a great stay in the East Village apartment. Finding accomodations on a budget for 3 adults and 1 child was tricky, and this place was just what we needed! It is not large, but was just enough space for us. If you need a landing pad for a long weekend in NYC, this could be the place for you!

Great stay and PERFECT location!

Check in and check out process were seamless. A perfect location and the pictures are true to the actual location. Will definitely stay again when in NYC.

Bait and Switch

Booked and paid for this property and the day before I arrived in NYC I was contacted by someone purporting to be the host (but with a different name entirely) who said that there had been a burst pipe and the property was flooded and not available. I noted that the property was showing as available for the dates of my booking but the per day rate was double what I paid.I was told that my booking would have to be cancelled unless I accepted another property in the Lower East Side. It wasn't feasable to cancel as I had travelled 10,000 miles and any last minute booking would double my costs.We had a tiny apartment in the lower east side for 10 days. The greeter was aggressive and angry that we arrived in NYC at 11:30pm. We were warned that under no circumstances if asked were we to disclose that we were renting the apartment from a short stay app. The apartment was not cleaned properly with dirt and dust just swept into the corners of the rooms. There were no instructions for the property and for the 10 days we stayed we were without heat and hot water for 7 of them. This was when temperatures were around freezing. I did not get what I paid for. I've attempted to resolve this issue with Stayz who contacted the host by she just ignored all attempts to contact her via phone or email. I note with interest that this property regularly is unavailable due to a burst pipe. I did not get any partial refund and the host wouldn't even give me a receipt. DO NOT STAY HERE.

New York Three Bedroom

We had booked this property in the East Village but last minute water damage forced us to another property owned by the property owner in Hell’s Kitchen. Communication with the property owner was great and we appreciate the availability of another property instead of a cancellation.
