This was an awesome place with an amazing view! The room was comfortable, they had everything we needed to feel like home, and the hosts were very sweet.

The property was better than any of the descriptions or photos could portray! The Hosts were so incredibly welcoming, the property was clean and very well kept. The neighborhood was clean and private. I couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Our stay couldn’t have been better! The hosts were so delightful and helpful, with decades of Alaska experience and lots of insight about the area. We arrived to home-baked chocolate chip cookies and fresh eggs from their onsite coop. They were wonderful hosts and we highly recommend this place! The view is stunning. Truly one of the most amazing places to stay and see the ever changing landscape. We saw a moose cow and nursing calf right from our breakfast table, incredible views of the shifting weather and clouds rolling through the valley, and the most amazing rainbow we’d ever see. The house is squeaky clean and beautifully maintained. The location is a great jumping off point to hike Hatchers Pass, drive up to Talkeetna and catch the train, or drive all the way to Denali. We absolutely recommend staying here if you have the chance!

This place was an absolute gem! It was spotless from top to bottom, and it was clear the hosts thought of every little detail — down to leaving binoculars and a spotting scope for taking in the beautiful, unobstructed mountain views. Check-in was seamless and stress-free, which made settling in even more enjoyable. The homemade cookies and raspberry jam waiting for us were such a thoughtful touch — and absolutely delicious! They also have fresh eggs waiting in the refrigerator. You can tell this host genuinely cares about creating a memorable stay. We'd return in a heartbeat and recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-cared-for getaway. They are also continuing to add more special details for a persons stay. Currently a path down to a pond is being built. We can't wait to walk down it's path when we return sometime in the future! The hosts were super friendly and wanted to make sure our stay was an amazing one!

Absolutely breathtaking

The views were absolutely incredible. The owners were extremely nice and friendly. The apartment was wonderful very clean and modern. 10/10 would recommend this to everyone. Could not have asked for a better property to rent.

Beautiful views, thoughtful touches throughout the place including the fresh eggs and homemade jam/cookies, and a fairly convenient location to the surrounding area while still providing quick access to Alaska wilderness. Only improvements I'd suggest are improved window covers as the cover for the window on the front door is fairly flimsy and I had cover it myself and the gaps in the main window blinds still let's in a fair amount of light so bring an eye mask until that's sorted out. It can also be a bit tough navigating the parking, the stones used to mark where you stop at could damage lower height cars but aren't tall enough to see easily so some care when navigating the space is needed. Overall those are nitpicking items and the experience of staying here was well worth the value. Would absolutely return in the future.

Wow!! We LOVED this property! The view was amazing and the thought that went into every detail of the property was apparent from the finishings to the amenities! We especially loved the host sharing fresh farm eggs, homemade jam, berries, fresh baked cookies and even a hand made dish cloth. The monocular was an added bonus as we spotted an eagle minutes after arrival! Having a Blackstone to cook on was also a huge plus. We highly recommend this property! Thank you Marlun for being a great host!

We enjoy gardening (we’re active in three local garden clubs!), hiking, fishing, attending local plays, concerts, and volunteering in our community. Hosting gives us a chance to meet people from all over the world while offering a peaceful, private space where guests can truly relax and take in the incredible views that made us fall in love with this spot.

From the moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by nature—moose and birds often wander by, and on clear nights you might catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights dancing across the sky. We especially enjoy the seasonal changes: vibrant gardens and berry picking in summer, crisp hikes and snowmachining in winter, and colorful skies all year long.
