Awesome pet friendly stay for a family, five minute walk to the beach. Host provided all the necessary info prior to check in. Not only was this a very unique and cool house, but there was an abundance of toys for pets, kids, and a great mix of board games and what not for down time. House could use a little TLC as some have noted by some, but the character of the place is preserved well. We had a great time and would be happy to return.

Stayed for 4 nights. Really is a perfect kid friendly and dog friendly place. Great location. Does need some upgrades. But over all this out 2nd time staying here and it was perfect

House is very cool! We loved the historic features. Plenty of room for everyone and great for our dog. Big yard and driveway for spending time outside. King bed with memory foam mattress was very comfortable. Great location for the price.

This was a quirky house, but it was great for a large group (we had 8 people). The house is definitely in need of maintenance, but it was well equipped for families and was priced accordingly. Host communication was average, but overall it was a good experience and I’d book again. We did notice ants, as was mentioned in other reviews, but it was nothing problematic.

Over all it’s an okay house to stay in. Definitely needs some repairs and upgrading, but overall it’s a place to stay in a great location.

Great place, clean, superb location

Our stay here was perfect. We had everything we needed and didn’t have to worry about bringing sheets or towels which was super convenient. The house itself is absolutely adorable - modernized vintage feel that makes for a truly unique stay. The place was clean and well maintained. I’d definitely come back.

Easy to relax

This house is perfect for a family (of all ages) flying into the area or that has limited space for all of their stuff. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals, and the house is comfortable and spacious. We had our dog with us, and they had everything for her, too!

Nice short stay

We only stood for one day. And the experience was good. It’s very clean if I did not take my towels, shampoo, soap, etc. it would have been provided which was nice to know. Communication was great all in all. I would recommend this house to be rented.

North Wildwood Vacation

Property was clean. Location is as advertised. The Host quickly responded to my questions and concerns. Prior reviews mentioned issues with ants. The Host had the property treated, and we had no problems.

The house is very old (which is fine) but in a state of disrepair. There are holes in the walls and the floors, we noticed ants in the kitchen (which we were warned about ahead of time) so we put all open foods in the fridge or the microwave. The ants completely invaded the microwave and we lost an entire pack of muffins and another pack of bagels. We had to spray everyday for ants, so I eventually had to go to the store to get more spray. Half the outlets did not work. The shower is so old and not well built. I wore my sandals into the shower every time I used it and I grew up on a farm so…..The bathroom sink backed up everytime it was used and the toilet rocks to the one side.It’s also 3 blocks off the boardwalk but the “pinned location” makes it appear as if it’s only about about a block off the boardwalk. I had a child and an older person that I had to get up to the boards/beach each day and back which is why I picked a house that appeared to be very close.I also had to use a knife to wedge the coffee basket up on the coffee pot so we could get coffee every morning.I would discourage anyone from renting this house, especially at the nightly rate they are charging.

The host was very friendly, but a lil bit slow in replying back to any questions u may have. But we had a lovely stay, the house is very beautiful, older home, very open, and well equipped for a family with children and pets. Everything is there, for a dog and children and of course, the parents...The home has a few flaws, needs some work, great hot water, water pressure cud be a lil stronger but the hot water is hot, u just have to let the hot water run, for a couple mins, til it gets hot. The upstairs bathroom cud use some towel racks. But as I said, it's great for a family with children and a dog or two....the furnishing is great, and it's very comfortable. So come stay at the shore house...I enjoyed it I'm sure u will too....

House was a nice size and great location only issue was the not clean and infested with ants. All the beds had ants and even found them in our suitcases when we returned home.

The stay

The house is beautiful outside, bathroom is a little outdated but also beautiful has the old rustic,castle vibe .spacious lots of beds. Nice updated kitchen and laundry. Has some beach stuff or the kids. Great for the kids. Found a wagon too to haul stuff to the beach. It is four blocks from board walk. It a 5 min walk . And best part you can watch the fire works from the front. Stoop.

Advantages: The toys and board games in the living room are very suitable for children. Disadvantages: The hygiene and living environment are very poor. The water flow in the toilet and shower area is slow. The most serious problem is that there are many insects in their house. On the first day, only a few ants were found on the ground. On the second night, my friend and his daughter woke up in the middle of the night to change the diaper and found many ants crawling on the bed. There were also centipedes on the roof... We didn't sleep soundly all night

This house has character and felt very safe. The host clearly wants people to come in and have a good time. There are some improvements that would make this 5 stars.1 There was way too much furniture for the space. The front door was inaccessible without moving a giant console table, Thats where all the beach stuff was. There's a hallway that would connect the half-bath, bunk bed room, and the room with the crib. However because the crib room has 2 beds and a crib, that door cannot be opened either. The day bed in the dining room takes away the ability to walk comfortably around the dining table. 2 General house maintenance is in need of attention, though it also appears some of it has been worked on. There are holes in walls, uneven floors, cracked tiles etc. The ac window units don't really reach the kitchen and 1/2 bath area. We saw some large silverfish a night after a big rain in that front sunporch area, so I suspect perhaps some of that pretty window trim needs replaced or repaired, also so many ants!!3 The back yard - I imagined opening a door to let my dogs out to play. In reality you have to go outside and downstairs to get out to it. The gate is closed with bungee cords and there was junk in it.4 Sheets not on the bed - seems to be a Wildwood thing??Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives in this home and we had fun. The board games, books, beach towels and dishwasher pods were examples of thoughtful touches. Thanks Ciaran for having us!!

Amazing beach get away. Very pet friendly! Our four legged friend had fun in the yard and was able to feel at home with the toys and bed. The house was very clean, comfy and cozy. It was a great place for us to get away and escape our daily lives for a weekend! We came down as two couples and a dog and will have to come back when the baby is born! Perfectly set up for entire family getaway!!!

Overall, a great vacation. However, the photos of the house do not exactly represent the house. It is an older home. A little TLC would make this house amazing. It is an extremely family friendly environment. As the ad says, bring the kids and bring the dog. I would absolutely book my vacation here again..
