Just imagine this, walking into a spacious, contemporary/cozy apartment with panoramic views over the hills, the zipline, both ponds (salt and freshwater
), philipsburg and the harbor with the cruiseships.
After a day of exploring you can come back home, take a shower in a luxury bathroom and enjoy the sunset from the hottub on the living porch while either a private chef or a family member prepares a meal.
The apartment is put together with love which I hope you can feel present while staying there.

Barbara was very accommodating and the rental property was just as described. I would recommend this property for the amazing view and due to Barbara’s great customer service. I can not wait to come back!

This apartment was fantastic. Everything was as in the pictures. Amazing to come home to the view and the hot tub at night. Everything needed was provided, with a fully stocked kitchen including starter drinks and tea (although bring shampoo, that seems to not be standard anywhere we stayed in the Caribbean). On top of that, Barbara was amazing, we had a small medical emergency and she let us stay in the apartment until our flight left - so kind and generous. My parents are ready to go back next year!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property. The home is beautiful, with very high-end finishes, spotlessly clean, and maintained to the highest standards. You can truly feel that Barbara put her heart and soul into designing and caring for this place.The living room and kitchen are very spacious, and the kitchen is fully equipped—honestly even better than what we have at home. Everything was thoughtfully organized and incredibly clean. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, especially with the lovely welcome drink and the jacuzzi already prepared for us.Barbara is an exceptional host. She made us feel truly at home, checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything, and shared valuable advice on where to go and what to see, which made our trip even more special.The bedrooms are extremely comfortable, each with ample closet space and air conditioning. The master bedroom has a direct exit to the patio, where you’ll find a large, beautiful jacuzzi. One of our favorite spots was the patio itself—overlooking the mountains on one side and the ship terminal on the other. The views are absolutely gorgeous and incredibly relaxing.This was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Thanks to Barbara, we enjoyed an outstanding stay and an unforgettable trip. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

My husband and I spent 6 nights at La Vie; our first trip to Sint Maarten.  Barbara's place has all the amenities anyone would need and is very comfortable, modern and warm with a personal touch. The pictures are accurate although the apartment is bigger than we expected!  We weren't sure at first of the location, being close to Philipsburg but in fact it's ideal to watch the action at a distance and see the pelicans and egrets in the ponds below. A beautiful 180 degree view! If you're renting a car, definitely use Barbara's recommendation as they know the area and will get you the right car for the steep access. Taxis work well too.  It was really easy to travel around the island as most beaches and places to visit are 20-25 minutes away in either direction including Anse Marcel.  Orient Bay is stunning and busy but worth the visit.  Friar's Bay Beach was our chosen spot for snorkeling and has a great beach bar restaurant with cheap sunchairs/umbrella. Barbara herself is a gem!  She sent us loads of information before we arrived which helped immensely to plan our time there.  She even met us upon arrival at the apartment and took us grocery shopping as we had arranged our car to be delivered the next day.  Rodney, the driver Barbara recommended to pick us up from the airport, was fabulous and we used him more than once. Very knowledgeable about the area too. Barbara kept in touch throughout our stay but left us to our privacy.  We would stay again and definitely recommend!

The condo is very centrally located. Just a few minutes away from Philipsburg and if you drive in the other direction you are in no time on the northern side of our island..where French is the spoken language.

This property gives you all the privacy you need. It's on a hill so you have this amazing view and a lovely breeze. You can see town and the harbor with the cruiseships. It is cozy and has everything you need to feel at home.
