Closets: every bedroom features a closet with shelving, tons of hanging space & hangers. Master contains a huge walk in closet.

Glam: Cotton makeup removers, a clothing steamer and a hair dryer are all provided.

The garage is small so only a compact car can fit. It’s not so much the garage itself but the very narrow alley to pull in from. All of this was explained in the listing so no surprises. Everything about the property was wonderful and Laura was amazing to work with.

Great communication from host! Although the house has limited curb appeal, the house borders a very charming neighborhood. The unit itself is a ground- floor apartment of a duplex/multi unit structure. The interior of the unit is full of character, with arched door openings. As stated in the ad, on-site parking is limited to a small vehicle (which for us, meant finding street parking with our SUV) The home is tastefully decorated and the kitchen has been updated. The bathrooms would benefit from updating; we had some issues with the water draining in the master bathroom (shower and sink), but this likely was been a temporary issue that the host has since been resolved. The outdoor patio area was not appealing to us for use during the stay due to the location, and the barbecue was functional but aging. Overall we were satisfied with the stay.

We had a great stay at this property and would highly recommend it. The house was spotless on arrival and clearly well cared for, with plenty of space, comfortable furnishings, and everything you need for a relaxed trip. Parking in the garage was easy (and much better then street parking)The location is a real strength: a two-minute walk to the beach, with shops and restaurants close enough to pop out for coffee, dinner, or last-minute groceries without having to move the car. Despite being so close to everything, the street itself is quiet, which makes it easy to actually unwind in the evenings.Check-in and check-out were seamless, clear instructions, no hassle, and the host was responsive when we had a quick question. A straightforward, well-run rental in a great spot. We'd happily book again.

Nice attractive place was not really luxury but comfortable. Would stay again but need to upgrade hot water system, provide better cooking utensils & cleaning supplies. Can’t do anything about parking but don’t advertise garage as a parking spot. Getting a compact car in that garage will be a challenge.

The home isn't well maintained and had a lot of parts that weren't working correctly - faucets, door locks, outlets, etc. Basic every-day items such as enough plates and utensils for the amount of people it sleeps, dishwasher detergent and bath towels were not provided. The property could also use a thorough deep cleaning. The beds were comfortable and the location worked but I would not stay here again. Also, parking is hard and unless you have a small sedan, there is no way you're making it into the garage.

Nice house by the beach and lots of restaurants

The home is very nice and comfortable. You can park your car and you don't even have to drive anywhere. You can walk to the beach (one block), the grocery store (about 3 blocks), or any number of restaurants just a few blocks away. The neighborhood feels safe. The property manager addressed any little issue I had, although there weren't many, very quickly. I've stayed here twice now because the first stay was so enjoyable.

Good property

The property was good! 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Only problem is the parking, the garage cannot fit a mini van like a Toyota Sienna. There's no spare toilet paper, kitchen paper, laundry detergent. Overall, our stay was good! Thank you!

Close to the beach, but…

Sorry, but not great. Home is a downstairs flat or condo; we could hear the upstairs neighbor walk around, though not terribly loud. Faint odor of smoke or gas (?) bugged my wife. The host was helpful and responsive when I complained. The parking is a major problem. Our car was too big for the tiny garage and street parking was hard to find, especially on weekends and evenings. Poor water pressure. Finally, we ran out of toilet paper and had to visit the nearby Von’s to buy. No guest should have to purchase tp.

Long Beach Bungalow

Location. Location. Location. The locations was fantastic, you are walking distance from the beach, shops, restaurants! The home is an older home, however it has the charm, renovated kitchen and hall bathroom and looks exactly like the photos in the listing. Laura was incredibly responsive, check in was seamless and our stay was great. Cons of the stay but personally didn’t affect the overall rating for me. 1. Parking is tough if you have a larger vehicle or multiple, but wasn’t a big deal for us as we took advantage of walking everywhere, the weather was great. 2. If you are bothered by upstairs neighbors, you can hear them however nothing crazy beyond normal living noise. 3. The water pressure wasnt the greatest but again it is an older home so the expectations of all bells and whistles although renovated, aren’t going to be there. The host has a great sense of taste, and over all the desired location. Although I had cons, please note that I listed things simply out of the owners control. Great job Laura!

Overall impression was that the property photographs well... but fails to deliver. The property is the bottom half of a duplex. The area is a little more congested and the back of property have a gas station and 7-11 as neighbors. The apartment itself has a lot of historic, pretty details in the architecture and the owner had done a renovation in the kitchen. However, it seems as though pictures of the property may have been taken right post the reno and then the property maintenance or investment in housing supplies had not been kept up since. Doorknobs fell off, black mold in the grout of the kitchen and bathrooms, furniture was aesthetically pleasing but flimsy or not fully put together. The headboards in the double bed bedroom are not attached and wobble forward, the bed frame in the other bedroom is so flimsy that when you sit on the bed, the main support slants severely, threatening to give out. A lot of the furniture was pretty delicate and looked like it would break, notably the coffee table and the shelving in the dining room. The bath towels were mismatched and incredibly threadbare and one of them had holes. No bathmat, though to the owner's credit, when alerted, she sent a package via Amazon for one. The appliances were newer, but there was a hole in the wall from the stackable washer/dryer that exposed the gas line that smelled. Black mold in the washer. There's potential if they invested half the money they charge for a stay in maintenance. Disappointing

Laurie the manager reached out to me right away. She made my end of things very easy. The unit was clean. Furniture was adequate. The basics were available in kitchen and bathrooms: soap, shampoo, detergent, dishes, bowls, glasses. There is an upstairs unit. I could hear footsteps and movements but nothing unreasonable. I met the upstairs tenants the last day. Very nice family.
