Beautiful Lake Home on Charming Bad Axe Lake Near Park Rapids, Minnesota
Make yourself at home in this 3-bedroom Park Rapids retreat. Our cabin is located on a quiet, private lake. Bad Axe Lake is known for its clarity and great swimming waters. Fish for sunnies, crappies, bass, northern and muskie right off the dock. Bad Axe is home to Camp Wilderness, a camp for Cub Scouts and Scouting America Youth, Isle O’ Dreams Lodge, a great family resort, and several private family cabins and homes. It is next to popular Mantrap Lake, 10 minutes away from Zorbaz and Big Sand Lake. You can take a 15 minute drive into town to shop around, or a 10 minute drive to eat at the old Logging Camp. Itasca State Park is not to be missed and only 30 minutes away.
This cabin boasts a pleasant blend of comfort and charm, with two queen beds, a twin bed, bunk beds, and a full bed to accommodate all guests with a max occupancy of 6 guests. Enjoy a grill, campfire, dock, and deck off the cabin, the convenience of a washing machine and wifi during your stay. With 2 bathrooms featuring a bathtub and shower, your relaxation is guaranteed. Enjoy peaceful water with undeveloped wilderness views across the lake. We think our place will help you experience everything Park Rapids has to offer.
This is our family cabin, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW:
There is NOT a public access for boats on Bad Axe, personal boats will not be allowed to enter into Bad Axe Lake. However, there is space to park your boat and trailer with many other public lake accesses nearby. *All members of Bad Axe Lake, and the lake association, are passionate about keeping invasive species out of the lake and it is their top priority to preserve the lake’s habitat. We hope you understand and please be respectful of this.
A canoe will be available for guests to use.
Although we love animals and understand they are a big part of families' lives, we cannot allow dogs and pets at our cabin.
No smoking on our property.
Our cabin is on a well and the water is high in iron. It can cause some discoloration in water.
