This place has it all!

Great place to enjoy nature and close to everything you need and want to do.Private setting right of the water and located in the town. Fish off the dock, watch the loons and wildlife. Easy access to the lake from the river site. The cabin is great for families and friends. Private levels and room for all. Even parking in the garage. Leave the driveway and you have access to all the town has to offer and events. The owners are very friendly, helpful and go out their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable.I highly recommend it!

Wonderful cabin spring break trip

Lovely cabin, absolutely beautiful lake views. Perfect for our "Up-North Spring Vaca". Highly recommend.

As soon as we walked in we were all so pleased with it. It is an adorable place. Nice that it was so close to town. The beds were comfy. The deck was nice, right over the water. I definitely recommend this place.

We were in Park Rapids for a baptism. The cabin was lovely and exactly the space we needed. We were very impressed with how clean and well appointed everything was. It was comfortable and we felt at home. Thank you for thinking of all the things to make the stay wonderful. We would love to stay again!

WOW. We did not stay here for vacation purposes but the warmth, view, and coziness of this cabin made us feel so very relaxed we felt like we were on a vacation. We loved the ice maker and enjoyed watching the “smart” tv!! What a beautiful stay we had.
Livingroom on main floor. Loved it!!

Aboslutely lovely property! We loved the bedrooms on each floor and the two balconies overlooking the gorgeous river. We are already talking about when we can book again!

Great three bedroom two bath house/cabin for a group or family stay. The loft bedroom doesn't have great isolation from the living space, but just fine for a family group. I am the last to bed and the first person up so it worked great for us. The beds are very comfortable and it is right on the water.

Beautiful cabin on the lake

The property was as described. Owner very responsive to request. Beds were super comfy. And kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed watching 4th of July fireworks from the deck. Only drawback was traffic noise.

The check in process was super easy with the keyless entry. The interior of the home was cute and cozy. A deep clean is definitely needed, however. Lots of dust and cob webs in places that are not super obvious. Beds were comfy and there are plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The access to the river is amazing and we enjoyed the water, kayak, and paddle board. We fished the lake and had some good luck. The outside of the property was unappealing and unkempt. It appeared as though no one had layed eyes on the outside of the home for some time. The decks were peeling stain or paint and the weeds and cobwebs overtook most of the space. The grill was disgusting and we had to really scrub it to even make is usable. There was broken yard lights and trash near the docks. A large gaping hole when trying to step from the dock to the stairs up to the property and one of the docks was tilted or sinking to one side. I would have not been comfortable with small children at this home. If the outside of the property had some TLC and an outdoor larger patio table with some umbrellas for shade was added, it would be a great property !

Location was great, checkin was great. Upstairs/loft beds had dog hair and smells all over both beds...had to change the sheets (gross). Coffee maker looked like it hadnt been cleaned in quite awhile. The outside area and lower deck had weeds and vegetation growing through the deck boards.

Fun Weekend in Park Rapids

Great communication and check in process, very easy. Park Rapids is nearby and fun to visit, shop. Cabin is really nice inside, super well provisioned, has everything needed. Rustic staircase is a bit challenging to descend (especially at night while going down to use the bathroom). Deck rails outside have sealant peeling all over them (which is a shame, detracted from ambiance while sitting outside). Overall, nice rental…could use a little bit of TLC though.

Our family had a lovely stay at this place. it held 7 of us staying comfortably with other family members dropping by. The cabin was cozy and inviting. There is some street noise but not too bad. The views, deck & kitchen were great, beds comfy and amenities plentiful! Our main problem was with two folks with canes and one ER nurse on board, we found the steps leading on to the main floor quite hazardous. They are uneven and different heights. PLEASE, please fix this as I wouldn't want this owner to get sued... the steps are dangerous. A railing down to the dock would also be helpful! We found the lot to be quite dog friendly but could use occasional mowing. We wouldn't hesitate to have a more extended family reunion here, when the steps have been changed.

We truly loved our stay here in Park Rapids. The cabin had tons of room and I especially loved the looks of the high ceiling with the loft. The view of the lake was also gorgeous. We even got to see some loons with their two babies. The biggest issue we had was the amount of light coming into the loft at 5am. Facing East, this should be somewhat expected in June in Minnesota. There were some privacy curtains but they didn't do much to block out the light making it really hard to sleep. The property could use a little TLC as well. The deck needs to be refinished and the landscaping could use some work. The grille outside also seemed to be on its last legs and was barely enough to get us by. Overall, I really enjoyed our stay though. The cabin had everything we needed and having the breeze off the lake was really nice.

Excellent cabin on the Fish Hook river. We enjoyed the view, the games and proximity to Itasca State Park. The host was very responsive and it was a great experience.
