Beautiful house, great location. Quibbles: mattresses a bit worn out, ping pong table warped beyond use.

We enjoyed another great week at this beautiful home. The rooms were spotless when we arrived, the kitchen and pantry were well-stocked, and the garage had a lot of things for the beach including chairs and boogie boards. Great views to the bay for afternoon happy hours and sunsets, and great views to the beach from the roof deck for sunrises. Easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed watching the World Cup gathered with the whole family in the living room. Josephine is a great host and communicator. We look forward to a future stay!

Great family trip

Josephine is a great host. She was quick to respond to questions and provide excellent recommendations. Location of the house was great. It is in a quieter area of LBI and you are no more than a block away from the beach or the bay!

Amazing weekend down the shore!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Josephine’s property. She was extremely responsive whenever we had questions and the house was just as pictured on the listing. If you’re thinking of enjoying a weekend down in LBI and you have a larger group this house is definitely the one to book! We loved it!!

Great Location!

Overall we loved staying at this location. The views were great and quick access to the bay with playground, basketball hoop and tennis courts, as well as quick walk to the beach itself and a "back entrance" to the beach at the very end of the island. We also loved the several separate spaces i.e. all of the balconies, rooftop deck, garage/play area, and the second living room made it convenient for our large family with little ones. We would definitely stay here again.

Holgate Beach House

What a great house! All 8 of us really enjoyed the ocean views from all the many windows. The house is full of light and has everything you might need - minus linens and towels. We had never been to the East Coast before and we were blown away by how pretty New Jersey is. This was a great house for a family to stay at.

Beautiful home, gorgeous location

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we needed. We especially loved the water and sunset views. We didn’t have to leave the house to enjoy the bay, although we did spend lots of time on the bay beach and playground, which were perfect for our toddler. The ocean beach is very close and fabulous too, but be prepared for the climb up the steep dunes. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend this rental.

What a great week at a GREAT house!

This house was very clean and stylish. It has a large kitchen which allowed us to cook dinner for 9 people. It has a large table for some long, lingering dinners. The location can’t be beat. It is across the street from the bay and a block to the ocean. There is a playground, a basketball hoop and tennis courts on the bay about a block away. Josephine Tyne, the owner was very pleasant and efficient to communicate with. She also supplies renters with toiletries, coffee and paper products. I have never encountered that in a vacation rental. There are two living room areas which were well used. The three and a half bathrooms were great, modern. The bedrooms worked out beautifully. Oh yes, the roof deck - what lovely views of the ocean, the bay and even Atlantic City! I recommend the house for family fun at the shore!

Enjoyed our stay

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and it was nice having extra supplies that were provided by the owner. It was a quick walk to the beach or drive if you wanted to be down by the bathrooms. The kids also enjoyed the close proximity to the bay and playground. I would definitely recommend the property.

Wonderful getaway!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Josephine’s place! The house was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for a convenient stay. We loved the location - the bay beach just across the street was perfect for my toddler son with plenty of sand and shells to keep him entertained. We enjoyed hanging on the lower covered deck while he napped and watching the sun set over the water every night. Josephine was an amazing host - she was incredibly flexible with our family and very easy to communicate with. We hope to return soon!

LBI in September

This house was exactly as described in the listing. It was very comfortable for three couples and provided lots of space for being together as well as privacy when we wanted to be alone. Easy access to the ocean beach and only a few steps from a lovely bay beach.

Excellent experience all around

This was the nicest home that we've ever rented at the shore. We are a group of senior siblings who get together every year for a beach trip. This house is exceptionally spacious and well appointed. The host was generous and easy to communicate with. We would definitely go back.
