We stayed in Charlotte In October 2026. There were 8 adults and 2 children under the age of 3 years old in our family group. This house was a great fit for the adults as well as the children. The house layout enabled us to place children next to adults, one family downstairs and the other upstairs. The pool and hot tub were a fantastic way to have fun and relax at the end of each day of touring. The location of this house is excellent - a grocery store a few blocks away, great restaurants to choose from (and which deliver), and close to playgrounds. In addition the host was very accommodating, quickly responding to any questions or requests. I genuinely felt that the host wanted to ensure our visit went smoothly and hassle free.

Only critique is more coffee mugs and coffee filters for a group our size. Otherwise, beautiful home, comfortable bedding, and great pool area.

The coffee setup is a helpful note for us, and we appreciate you mentioning it. We’re glad the home itself, comfortable bedding, and pool area made a great impression, and we’ll take a closer look at having enough mugs and filters on hand for larger groups. Thank you for the thoughtful feedback, Carlos!

The Good: Beds are all comfortable. Bathrooms are nice and well stocked. Kitchen is spacious and well stocked. Plenty of room to spread out. Fans and TVs in most, if not all, rooms. Arcade game was a nice touch. Very conveniently located. The Bad: Front door automatic lock was not working, had to use backup key for entire stay. Hot tub offers no onsite controls, everything needs to be coordinated with the host. Jets for hot tub didn't work for the entire stay. No spare blankets. Pool wasnt clean. Various light switches seemingly do not work. Hammock and chair on balcony were broken or in terrible condition. Unable to lock back door.TLDR - 7/10

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Joe. We’re glad you enjoyed the comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, spacious layout, and convenient location. Regarding the front door lock, our team reported an issue with the smart lock during the property’s preparation, and we informed you promptly. To ensure you could access the property without being locked out, we temporarily provided manual key access while we worked to resolve the issue. We’re pleased to share that a technician has since inspected the smart lock and resolved the problem. As for the hot tub jets, we’re sorry they didn’t operate as intended during your stay. Although the heating function was working, we understand this was disappointing. We’ve since reset the system and had a technician inspect the tub, who confirmed that the jets were operational. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to address these concerns. We’d love to welcome you back for an even better stay!

The property was perfect for our team retreat. Plenty of room, clean and well supplied. Communication and responsiveness of property manager was excellent. The hot tub blower went out and they had it replaced the following day. Don's sleep on this property--you'll sleep great!

I wouldn’t call this a luxury home. It does have a great pool and hot tub and we knew we had to pay for pool to be heated. After there, found out hot tub couldn’t be heated if pool heat was on. I felt like I spent half of my time texting host to toggle between HT and pool heating, lights and jets. No extra towels for pool - barely enough for bathing. We planned on cooking Thanksgiving meal in the “gourmet” kitchen so were shocked to find ONE 1-quart pot, 3 or 4 cheap frying pans and an assortment of baking sheets. Yes, it does have a Viking stove. There were NO coffee pots upon arrival but the Host did have 2 cheap coffee pots delivered the first night only after asking for photos proving there were none on premises. The house reeked of smoke and cigarette butts were found on deck and yard. After complaining, host offered to send someone over to air out but we had already done that. Art work off wall and in closet. Bathroom towel bar hanging by thread so we just placed it on counter. Door stop on floor instead of being attached. Stained cushions on outdoor chairs - to the point of putting a towel down to use. Indoor seating for 5 even though a 5 BR homeEntrance area dirty; candy wrapper, dusty ski cap and a cheesy macaroni noodle under bedside table. Other than that, I would say clean. In summary, great location and potential to be the Luxury Charlotte Home advertised. I find it hard to believe the 5 reviews I based my decision on are of the same house.
