The beds and bedding is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, and the appliances were nice. The pools were clean, They don’t have much for the beach, but they do have 4 or 5 beach chairs.

Thanks for the positive review Tammy, and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. I do want to point out to others reading the reviews that we do offer in addition to beach chairs, a good size rolling cooler, a beach cart, beach toys, pickleball paddles and balls, and an inflatable football. Hopefully all those items have made it back into the guest closet. We’ll be sure to check and replenish as may be needed.

Kitchen has all things needed to cook meals which is very nice. Then eating on back porch, or at kitchen table…very comfortable. TVs in all rooms makes a little unwinding private time nice. Bedrooms comfortable and clean. Place stayed nice and cool. Short walk to beach. Nice quiet community. This may seem silly but I LOVE that all you have to do with trash is put in bin down in garage (there’s a storage unit for trash). And boom someone comes M,W & F removes puts on curb for it to be picked up.Per friendly! Lots of grass to stay off hot pavement… We hope to be back next year!

My family has visited a number of places in Barrier Dunes over the past decade or more and this unit was without doubt the most adequately provisioned.Everything you might need on a family trip is probably in a drawer or closet somewhere.

The property was very nice and everything was clean. The kitchen had most of the small appliances we use at home. The queen bed was very comfortable. If you have a problem with stairs you may need to look elsewhere. Was disappointed that there was no beach access in this complex for golf carts.

Thanks Barbara for your positive review and we are happy that you enjoyed your stay. True, accommodations for golf carts are limited at Barrier Dunes and access to the beach is only on foot. It’s good that you point that out in case that’s of interest to other interested visitors.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The condominium complex is very nice and well maintained. The condo itself is well maintained and comes with everything you need to cook dinners and entertain kids with games. It has a nice patio that overlooks the lake. The complex itself is a great place to walk your dogs, as it offers many Pet stations around the complex. I would definitely stay in this cndo again. The communication with the homeowners was excellent during our stay. Nothing bad to report.

This is a great area to stay in. It's a gated community, and we often leave things in the carport area without a second thought. Two pools help on the rough seas, double reds, for the kids to be entertained. The turtles in the pond were fun to watch, and there were several bags of food provided to feed them. I would highly recommend this location to anyone staying in Cape San Blas. If more than one family is visiting, I would recommend that everyone find a location within this community.

All of the condos in this community are so wonderful - this one didn't disappoint. You enter to a drop zone which is nice for sandals, dog leashes, etc. Up the stairs to your living/dining area with a nice comfy couch and a reasonably stocked kitchen. They also had baggies and tupperware already there - which is convenient. Bedrooms and W/D are upstairs - beds were comfy. One thing to note - it does get warm up there even with fans running. It wasn't so hot we couldn't sleep but you can definitely feel the rise of the temp. Shower pressure was good. Dryer needs a few runs to dry fully. For the beach materials - they have a closet on property with cooler, chairs, and cart. We only used the chairs and those were in perfect condition. There are two kayaks on property and it would be cool if owners would be willing to charge for daily use. There is a rinse off/dog washing station which was AWESOME to be able to throw the dog (and myself) in there on the way back from the beach. One thing I would say is to potentially clean up the check in process. I was getting emails, texts, and looking in the app for all the check in information and the document I received had a space designated for the codes, but they didn't populate - so I ended up having to call the owners (who were super responsive and got us in right away). My preference would be all in-app communication so I don't have to go searching through different mediums for info. Overall, we had a blast and 10/10 would recommend.

As with all guests we appreciate your choosing to stay at our home. To date we have had only 5 star reviews, and so we are disappointed that the streak has ended. No deficiencies were communicated during your stay or in the review. We remain committed to listening to our guests and welcome constructive criticism. We take great pride in our home and will continue to seek opportunities to improve and to optimize our guest’s experience.

Hi. We are Alan and Beth Ramspeck - owners and hosts of Prince Oswald’s Beach Retreat. We live in Cumming, GA and have five children, two dogs, and two cats. We are experienced hosts with properties in Athens, Georgia (home of UGA - go dawgs!), Tiger, GA, and our beach homes on Cape San Blas. We love hosting guests to our properties!

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

We have been vacationing in Barrier Dunes with the family for the past 15 years. We love that it’s off the beaten path, but with Port Saint Joe, and Appalachicola nearby. The vibe is great here, and the sunsets are spectacular. We also love taking our two miniature golden doodles, Ozzie (Prince Oswald) and Milo, to the beach with us. The stars aligned earlier this year and we were able to purchase our home here. We are thrilled to share it with others.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

We use our home regularly. It’s not just an investment. We take great pride in the condition and having it well stocked. The screened, covered porch is the feature that we enjoy the most. Nights out on the deck are great.
