Welcome to Prince Oswald's Beach Retreat! Located in the gated community of Barrier Dunes on Cape San Blas, this charming 2BR/2BA Townhome with Super Loft features a covered, screened porch overlooking a serene pond — ideal for morning coffee or outdoor dining.

Upstairs features two bedrooms (one King, one Queen), a laundry area and stairway leading to the super loft; the perfect retreat for kids, with two twin beds.

At ground level is a carport with ample parking and you'll find beach chairs and toys in the guest closet, an enclosed outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach, and even a dog-washing station!

Amenities abound at Barrier Dunes! Pickleball and tennis courts, stocked ponds with lots of friendly turtles and catfish, two pools and a clubhouse and of course the beautiful beach are just steps away. This is a wonderful, family and dog friendly community at the serene North end of the Cape. Enjoy!

Amazing!!

This property was clean, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. It was well stocked and comfortable. The owners were super helpful and made sure we had what we needed! 5 stars! We’ll be coming back for sure!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The condominium complex is very nice and well maintained. The condo itself is well maintained and comes with everything you need to cook dinners and entertain kids with games. It has a nice patio that overlooks the lake. The complex itself is a great place to walk your dogs, as it offers many Pet stations around the complex. I would definitely stay in this cndo again. The communication with the homeowners was excellent during our stay. Nothing bad to report.

This is a great area to stay in. It's a gated community, and we often leave things in the carport area without a second thought. Two pools help on the rough seas, double reds, for the kids to be entertained. The turtles in the pond were fun to watch, and there were several bags of food provided to feed them. I would highly recommend this location to anyone staying in Cape San Blas. If more than one family is visiting, I would recommend that everyone find a location within this community.

All of the condos in this community are so wonderful - this one didn't disappoint. You enter to a drop zone which is nice for sandals, dog leashes, etc. Up the stairs to your living/dining area with a nice comfy couch and a reasonably stocked kitchen. They also had baggies and tupperware already there - which is convenient. Bedrooms and W/D are upstairs - beds were comfy. One thing to note - it does get warm up there even with fans running. It wasn't so hot we couldn't sleep but you can definitely feel the rise of the temp. Shower pressure was good. Dryer needs a few runs to dry fully. For the beach materials - they have a closet on property with cooler, chairs, and cart. We only used the chairs and those were in perfect condition. There are two kayaks on property and it would be cool if owners would be willing to charge for daily use. There is a rinse off/dog washing station which was AWESOME to be able to throw the dog (and myself) in there on the way back from the beach. One thing I would say is to potentially clean up the check in process. I was getting emails, texts, and looking in the app for all the check in information and the document I received had a space designated for the codes, but they didn't populate - so I ended up having to call the owners (who were super responsive and got us in right away). My preference would be all in-app communication so I don't have to go searching through different mediums for info. Overall, we had a blast and 10/10 would recommend.

We are experienced hosts with properties in Athens, Georgia (home of UGA - go dawgs!), Tiger, GA, and our beach house on Cape San Blas. We love hosting guests to our properties!

We have been vacationing in Barrier Dunes with the family for the past 15 years. We love that it’s off the beaten path, but with Port Saint Joe, and Appalachicola nearby. The vibe is great here, and the sunsets are spectacular. We also love taking our two miniature golden doodles, Ozzie (Prince Oswald) and Milo, to the beach with us. The stars aligned earlier this year and we were able to purchase our home here. We are thrilled to share it with others.

We use our home regularly. It’s not just an investment. We take great pride in the condition and having it well stocked. The screened, covered porch is the feature that we enjoy the most. Nights out on the deck are great.
