Please note: Spanish Key has scheduled balcony railing replacements beginning September 9, 2026, with balcony closures occurring by stack according to the project schedule. Weather/construction delays are possible; the outdoor pool closure is currently limited to late November 2026 through mid-January 2027, with the indoor pool and jacuzzi expected to remain open.

Spanish Key Beach Resort in Perdido Key is just across the Alabama-Florida state line and offers you a quieter, family friendly area of the Gulf Coast for your next Getaway! Just a short walk from the world famous Flora-Bama. Area activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, Parasailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, great restaurants with entertainment for all ages, golf, outlet malls, shopping, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of powder-white sand.

2. No Smoking in condo or on balcony.
3. Pets are NOT allowed.
4. Loud parties or gatherings will not be tolerated.
5. Must be at least 25 years old to rent. For groups of Single Adults, all guests in the group must be at least 25 years of age and proof of age will be required before approving the reservation.

Location and service staff great! Room could use a little updating, but clean and would return. More parking options would be needed on busy holidays like the 4th.

The condo was fine. The bed that I slept in was not comfortable. It was the king in the front room. Also the sliding doors were hard to open.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Sounds like another case of Goldilocks—too soft or too firm for some, just right for others! We’re sorry you didn’t get a good night’s sleep after what was likely a long, sun-soaked day at the beach. We’ve also notified the HOA maintenance team about the balcony door. Those heavy Gulf-facing doors take a beating from the salty, humid air and can get stubborn to open and close. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention and hope the rest of your stay was comfortable and relaxing.

We stay every year at Spanish Key. This particular unit is outdated and badly in need of some upkeep. The kitchen counter is in poor shape (scratches and a hole). Could use some more thought as to little touches that could improve the guest experience such as adding towel hooks in the Master bathroom, providing hangers in closets, etc.) I have no complaints about the cleanliness. All things being equal (i.e. price) I would not stay in this unit again and would return to one of the others we have rented. We love the complex amenities and location!

This was our second stay at Spanish Key. We like the area and the complex and would definitely consider staying there again in the future. On our 2024 trip we stayed in a different unit which was more well appointed with everything working properly. As far as unit 205, it was decent but there were a number of minor inconveniences I didn’t expect in a condo at Spanish Key. 1. The main bar ice maker was out of order2. There was no wi-fi (or router)3. We had to replace the batteries in a TV remote4. The toilet paper dispenser in the main suite was broken5. Kitchen counter top was cracked/broken6. TV armoire had broken mounding at the topThese were minor inconveniences which overall didn’t ruin our trip but I expect a little more from a place that we spent over 600 per night to rent. The most inconvenient parts were the lack of wi-fi (not a great cell tower signal in the unit either) and the lack of an ice maker to fill a cooler for the beach. To give some credit, the unit was sufficiently clean.
