Location is right on the beach with perfect view of the sunset each night. Parking garage spot is right by the elevator making coming and going a breeze.

Perfect Reset Spot

Everything was just perfectly located, down to the sunsets each night, whether viewing from the 9th floor or strolling the powdery soft white sand and endless shells. How convenient stores and restaurants were and honestly Groupon picked a lot of our new adventures! The place had every convenience!

The drains were slow in the baths and showers. Also, the front door is messed up. Everything else was great. We had a great vacation with our family. We will be back to Ocean Sands soon.

Our stay

Facilities were good however we experienced some unexpected maintenance. Pool and hot tub area was very good and well maintained and beach was nice too. condo itself was ok but not what we expected. Back bedroom was right above an intersection and a busy street. Madeira area was nice but not our cup of tea.

This condo is beautiful! It's just like the pictures. Very roomy. The view of the Gulf is breath- taking. We saw lots of dolphins and manatees every morning. We hope we can rent this condo again next year. It is close to everything. You really don't even need to rent a car. There is a trolley that will take you places.

Condo was clean & looked nice, but living rm furniture not comfortable. We had several issues: -1st time we sat in a living rm chair, the bottom broke & we ended up on the floor. .- Expected 8 cup coffee pot, which was only a 4 cup and it leaked water all over counter while perking every time. -One of the vegetable bins in the refrigerator sticks & the whole thing pulls out.-No grab bars in either shower & the floors were slippery. -Left side sink in master bathroom backs up but eventually drains. -Website said condo sleeps 4-6 and towels provided. We only had a total of 5 large bath towels and 5 wash cloths for the week. We went to Walmart and bought 10 cheap white wash cloths and left them for the condo. -No place to hang clothes in the 2nd bedroom closet. Needs a bar. Also a mirror, even on back of door, was expected but not there. -Elevator service was completely down 2 times (once on day 1 and again on day 2). People were stranded with groceries, children, beach equipment, etc. The 4 of us (late 70 yr. olds) had to trek up 9 flights of stairs each time and were scared to get stranded (like one vacationer's wife did) the whole week. We were told this was a common problem for Tower 1 for the last several years.If it wouldn't have been that 20 of our children/grandchildren were staying in Tower 2 for the week (with none of these issues), we'd have left after day 2 and requested a refund. Unfortunate stay for us and will not be returning.

While we were aware of the elevator and chair, we wish the other smaller items had been brought to our attention during your visit, as we would have gladly sent our team out immediately to do our best and address them for you. Please know that we have now scheduled to dispatch maintenance to inspect everything you mentioned. Regarding the elevator outages, we completely understand how challenging and exhausting taking the stairs must have been; while building-wide elevator operations are fully managed by the complex homeowners association, we always heavily advocate for our guests whenever these disruptions occur.
