Om værten
Vært: Skylar Wendel
Hi! I’m Skylar, a California native and part of a small family-run team behind Alpine Airbnb. We’ve been hosting for over five years and love helping people experience the magic of Groveland, Pine Mountain Lake, and nearby Yosemite National Park.
When I’m not managing properties, I’m out hiking local trails, paddleboarding on the lake, or sipping coffee on the deck while watching deer wander by. Hosting lets us share that peaceful, restorative feeling with travelers from all over.
Our goal is to make your stay stress-free, cozy, and memorable. From smooth check-ins to thoughtful local tips. We’re always just a message away and love helping you make the most of your trip.

Woodside Retreat sits tucked among tall pines in a quiet, walkable neighborhood just behind the golf course in Pine Mountain Lake. It’s peaceful here. You’ll wake up to birds and wild turkeys, spot deer wandering through the trees, and enjoy the scent of fresh mountain air every time you step outside.
We love how the neighborhood blends nature with convenience. You’re just minutes from the lake, beaches, hiking trails, and downtown Groveland, where you’ll find local coffee, pizza, and even a historic saloon. Yosemite’s Big Oak Flat entrance is about 30 minutes away, making this the perfect home base for day trips and adventure.
There’s a sense of calm here that’s hard to describe. Quiet mornings, starry nights, and everything in between.
