Hyggelig Ranch i Broadwaters Cove: Strande, Marinaer og Vingårde!

There is quite a difference between the "Broadwater's Cove" experience, and the "Marriot Residence Inn" experience. This renter was clearly looking for the latter. Not two weeks after their departure, another renter arrived with this feedback: "House is great, is it okay to use the kayaks in the garage?" I won't go into eccentricities, detected by myself as well as others who met this party in person, lest I entitle this response "Do Not Rent To This Party." I would encourage any prospective renters to do two things: 1) Read ALL of the reviews. and 2) Most importantly, come visit the property beforehand to verify its suitability, so that there are no unmet expectations or disappointments. The pictures are accurate and complete, but there is no substitute for a walk-through, which I would be happy to arrange. By the way the carpets were removed, not because of "mold" but because the gleaming hardwood floors are what I prefer, and remember from my childhood summers there. There is also plenty of hot water (and also a new blender, which I had purchased and had hand-delivered to them at their request). And just for the record, both the second week rent AND security deposit were returned, despite the "no refund" policy and the fact that the tenants broke the terms of the rental agreement.
