Let’s start with the positives. This property is truly beachfront. The unit is just steps from the beach and lots of shells! There are beach chairs, a wagon, an umbrella and towels, which made it easier to enjoy the beach. The property is centrally located, close to Doc Ford’s, a favorite, and close to the wildlife refuge. The pool was great, very family-friendly. The condo itself is spacious, and worked well for our family (four adults and two young kids) but we think it was a survivor of the hurricane. The cabinet doors in the kitchen wouldn’t shut, the closet door tracks were rusty, some tiles in corners were broken and the microwave had rust in it. Again, we think a lot of that was a result of Ian. If those details don’t bother you and you want to be close to the beach, this is a good location.

Everything about this condo was terrific. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, both of which are important to us because we live our sleep and love to cook. Lovation cant be beat, and communication was excellent.

Beautiful clean and very comfortable property in a stellar location. Both the view and the beach were phenomenal!! Everything was perfect and plenty of anything you need for the beach. Plenty of beach chairs and towels and even a wagon to cart it down to the sand. Beach was a hot spot for shells and even had huge shell piles the size that I have never seen before. Lots of birds to watch also which I loved. I barely had to walk at all to have a nice assortment of beautiful shells. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful too! Could have only been better if it was longer and we stayed a week! Location is also close to shopping and dining on Sanibel! Easy to contact property management for any questions. Will definitely return!
Flock of Brown Pelicans and other sea birds one night seen from the condo was a real treat and great photo op!!! Love the Sea birds!

The ocean view was fabulous. It was great to have the beach chairs, beach umbrella, & beach wagon provided. The unit itself was somewhat dated. There were a few cracked tiles in the bathroom, closet doors that didn't close, kitchen cabinets with the veneer peeling and that didn't close correctly, the bed in the middle bedroom was so loud/squeaky that we ended up putting the mattress on the floor. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the primary bedroom. All other rooms were clean/tidy. The shower in the primary bathroom was out of service for the entire first week of our 2-week stay which was very inconvenient and it was embarrassing as all of our 5 guests had to share the shower in the small bathroom. There were extra bed pillows but no extra pillow cases. Kingfisher was called about this halfway through our stay but there was no follow up. The sunroom did not have blinds/shades which ruled out using the sofa sleeper in that room. Lastly, both toilets were very low, this was an issue for one of our guests that had knee problems. We have been renting at Pointe Santo for the past 10 years, always different units. We love the complex & beach, this was the first time that we were disappointed with the unit.

I’m very glad to hear that you enjoyed the ocean view and found the beach equipment helpful during your stay. However, I’m truly sorry for the number of issues you experienced, particularly the inconvenience of the primary shower being out of service for such an extended period. I completely understand how difficult that must have been, especially with multiple guests. I also apologize for the maintenance and housekeeping concerns you mentioned, including the condition of some fixtures, the cobwebs, and the missing pillowcases. Additionally, I regret the lack of follow-up after you contacted Kingfisher—this is not the level of service we strive to provide. Your comments regarding updates, comfort, and usability of the space (including the bed, sunroom, and bathroom features) are greatly appreciated and will be carefully reviewed as we work on improvements to the unit. We truly value your feedback and are sorry that this stay did not meet the standards you’ve experienced in the past. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future.

We had the best time here! The view is something you only dream about. The pictures are great but really don't do the view justice. This was also our first time on the Gulf Coast - it'll be hard to do the Atlantic side again! The layout of this condo is so unique. It was fully stocked in the kitchen and we had nice new beach chairs to use along with a cart to wheel it down. It truly is only steps to the beach. My father in law isn't much of a sand guy, but the balcony was so close, he could sit out there and it was like he was right there with us. Points to him for avoiding the no-see-ums! They are plentiful. We did run into a few issues during our stay, but the host was so attentive and more than accommodating. We are very grateful to them for making us feel comfortable during our stay.The condo does still have some construction ongoing, but it was barely heard by us. The place is beyond beautiful and well worth a visit. And for those hunting for shells, this beach did not disappoint! The owners have a poster in the living room of all they types of shells found on sanibel island - it was cool to being our findings back at the end of each day to see exactly what we had found. We turned it into a scavenger hunt to see if we could find them all! We did find some sand dollars and larger shells, but they were very much still alive/inhabited, so we got a good look and put them back in the water. We'll definitely be back when we visit the Gulf! 10/10 Beach trip.
