The living room is complete with comfortable furniture, perfect for relaxing in front of a cozy fire in the gas fireplace and there are 3 bedrooms. The private primary suite with king bed, relaxing jacuzzi tub and access to a balcony with 2 chairs invites guests to step out for a bit of fresh air before beginning adventures for the day! The 2nd bedroom is also en-suite with a full bed and the 3rd bedroom holds a daybed with trundle (2 twins) and nice views of the Bay.  Wi-fi is available throughout this home, making it easy for you to plug in wherever you are most comfortable to stay connected socially during your stay at Heron 4.

Register for the Saranac Lake 6er Hiking Challenge to earn a coveted 6er patch and ring the traditional 6er bell! Experience hikes with varied ranges of difficulty that start and end from the 6er Bell in Berkely Green Park to Mount Baker at 1.8 miles and move on to surrounding areas to climb McKenzie at 10 miles, Ampersand at 5.4 miles,  Scarface at 6.8 miles, Haystack at 6.6 miles and St. Regis at 6.6 miles. Some people stretch hikes out to months or years and the more adventurous aim to become a winter 6er or complete all hikes in 24 hours to become an Ultra 6er!

Jackrabbit Ski Trail presents visitors with  34 miles of groomed cross country/hiking trails that begin in Keene and pass through Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and Paul Smiths offering all day ski trips with plenty of entry/exit opportunities along the way.
