This condo was fantastic! We had everything we needed and plenty of room. The pictures of the place were exactly what it was like when we arrived. I wanted a place where we could hang out and cook with our family and the outdoor lanai was perfect for dinners overlooking the water. The views are stunning. We also used the ocean pool to cool off and sat in the hot tub after sunset. My daughter, who lives on the island, said she felt like she was on vacation there. The location was great for getting around to downtown Kona since it was right off Ali’i drive. I would definitely stay here again!

Just as advertised. Well kept property with many high end features. Quiet, clean and peaceful. Great location for exploring, especially south to Kealakekua, Captain Cook and beyond.

Best Vacation Rental Experience Ever

Our two week stay on the Big Island in July/Aug 2026 exceeded our dreams for a beautiful and relaxing vacation thanks to this stunning rental. Hale Moana Kai #3201 is impeccably clean and exquisitely decorated with textiles and colors that convey tranquility. We had the BEST sleep of our lives in this peaceful, clean, quiet, beautiful unit. The kitchen has every appliance, cookware, gadget, and dishware/glassware imaginable, and storage containers for leftovers from cooking in the beautiful kitchen. Our hosts very generously stocked the unit with necessities we've never experienced in other vacation rentals, including shower soap & shampoo, dishwasher detergent, foil/plastic wraps, paper towels/bath tissue/Kleenex, and laundry detergent. There were also beach chairs, pickle ball equipment, shopping bags - anything/everything you might want for a perfect vacation. Central A/C and ceiling fans in every room (including walk-in closets) kept our stay comfortable even on the hottest days. Our favorite spot was the massive lanai with relaxing furniture, a wet bar, and a beautiful outdoor dining table. Every night we had a front-row seat to watch the boats come/go with snorkelers to see the manta rays. This gated community is the PERFECT location, tucked off busy roads but just a two-minute drive to the Keauhou Shopping Center with a KTA grocery, Longs Drugs, several restaurants and a coffee shop. The location is quiet and peaceful yet provides ample activity with three pools and pickle-ball and tennis courts. It is a short 15 minute drive to downtown Kona if you want to hit up the touristy spots. But, having stayed near downtown Kona in the past, we will ALWAYS choose this location in Keauhou over any other rental. Check-in and customer service from LUVA is exceptional. Communication with any questions we had was always easy and fast. We CANNOT wait to come back to this unit. Thank you for caring so much about providing guests with such a flawlessly enjoyable experience!

it was a very nice and updated property and the entire complex was so nice and very well kept. nice pools and very groomed landscaping and grounds. our only observation that might need to be checked on is the cooling ability of the primary bedroom (the one in the back) It just never was able to cool down like the rest of the condo. but other than that it was a fabulous comfortable property. (we loved sitting on the covered patio at nite and watching the boats and the sunset etc. thankyou
