Hi Melanie, we're happy you found the house great for your retreat and the location good. We hope your group enjoyed the private pool and separate carriage house. We're sorry to hear about the issues you experienced, but thank you for reporting them on your departure. We assessed the washer & a repairman is scheduled to replace the switches on it and we have taken care of the other items as well. Unfortunately, we can't control how crowded the beaches are but it sounds like you just walked a little further & made the best of it. Thank you for your feedback & thank you for staying with Real Joy.

Rosh, Thank you for the 5-star review! We're so glad the home was a great fit for your group and that the additional space worked out perfectly. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again soon! Thank you for choosing RealJoy.

Hi Tiffany, we hope you were able to enjoy gorgeous Ocean Breezes a little bit during your stay. It is a beautiful home, just across the street from the gulf. We apologize for the issues you experienced, they shouldn't have occurred. It looks like you wanted to check in early and we weren't able to accomodate you there, but it doesn't look like you contacted us at all during your visit. We can't figure out how the confusion about overflow parking happened, there isn't an HOA. There is a nearby neighborhood with overflow parking but it isn't this close to the beach. We take feedback seriously and are looking into the issues you mentioned. We appreciate your comments & wish we'd had the chance to improve your stay.

We are sorry you felt this way about this lovely home right across the street from the Gulf and that you were inconvenienced. It is one of our favorites. We tried our best to assist you with your concerns during your stay and refunded you $352. The owner heard your feedback and had a lot of the home remodeled from January to March 2017. They gutted the kitchen and completely overhauled it, updated the flooring and carpet on the main level, bought new dishware, new dining room table and barstools, all new bedding plus fresh decor throughout. This is a million dollar home and the new updates definitely reflect that. Again, sorry for your inconvenience, thank you for your feedback and thank you for staying with Real Joy.

Jackie, We apologize that there were so many issues during your stay. We are sorry that you felt our response was slow and inadequate, especially since you were reimbursed substantially more than the cleaning fee. Our records indicate that we had an exterminator in the unit in less than 24 hours. While they did find roaches, there was no evidence of an infestation. Our records do not indicate that you reached out to us with any of the other issues you mention in your review. If you had let us know, we would have brought more forks and whatever else you needed. We are glad that you enjoyed the public beach and we hope you had a safe trip home.

Brianne, Thank you for taking the time to let us know that your stay was great. We are sorry that the A/C was not working when you arrived and appreciate you allowing us to come fix it. We’ll let the owner know that the mattresses could be more comfortable. We’re glad the property worked well for your big group and we hope you had fun on our beautiful beaches. Thank you for choosing RealJoy.
