Prestigefyldt Tighlman Estates, Oceanview, privat pool

Klassisk strandhus, der er fuldt opdateret uden at miste charmen ved Ocean Drive-stilen. Fra de træpanelerede vægge til de store soveværelser og opholdsområder vil du elske den nostalgiske, men alligevel behagelige følelse, du får ved at bo i Sand-Bar.

Lige på den tredje række af huse fra stranden er det en kort gåtur at plante dig selv på en af de mindst overfyldte strækninger i North Myrtle. I Tilghman-sektionen er du omgivet af private hjem, og din udsigt til havet er ikke hindret af højhuse condo-bygninger, og du behøver heller ikke at presse ind på et lille sted på stranden. Spred dit tæppe og stole, slap af og se bølgerne rulle ind.

Main Street Ocean Drive ligger kun 7 gader væk - en god gåtur på en månelys aften efter at have nydt forlystelsesture eller arkade i centrum. Eller tag en kort cykeltur for at få frokost, eller shoppe. Sand-Bar er bekvemt beliggende i et malerisk område af stranden, men alligevel tæt på alt. Men vær advaret, når du forlader huset, vil du længe efter Sand-Bar's helligdom og ro.

Inde i huset finder du to store tv-skærme, to separate familieområder et fuldt udstyret køkken, et soldæk til afslapning, et overdækket dæk nedenunder og to lukkede verandaer. To af soveværelserne er store nok til at sove en familie på fire i hver, med en konge seng og en queensize seng i hver. Nu er det et stort soveværelse! Alle nye madrasser med topmadras tilføjet i 2016.

Sand-Bar er blevet elsket af en enkelt ejerfamilie siden den blev bygget i 1954. Der er lagt stor opmærksomhed på komfort og stil, da vi bruger huset alle undtagen et par uger om året, når det kan lejes.

Great location!

Fantastic family vacation spot! Communication was great from start to finish; we even got to check out an hour late. Great for multi generational families, plemty of rooms for everyone to have their own space. The pool was great and being able to walk to the beach in minutes was extremely helpful with 3 kids under 8! We hope to be back!!

Great family vacation

My family and I had a wonderful stay. There was 12 of us and this home fit us all with plenty of room. The check in process was so easy and very appreciated since we had driven 14 hours straight to get here.

Great location near the ocean

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property set up perfectly for us with two bedrooms, a bathroom and living room on each level. The outdoor shower came in handy when coming off the beach and the fenced in pool area was great for afternoon/evening swims and nice for our small dog. Short, easy walk to fairly quiet part of the beach.

Super nice place to stay

We loved our stay here. It was so close to the ocean and you could see the ocean from the window in the top floor. Pool was a nice size for lots of people to swim in. When I had to ask a question to the owner he got back with me in minutes. I would stay here again.

Great house and location!

We loved our stay at Sandbar! The house is well-organized, with two floors, each having everything necessary, so our teenagers stayed on the first floor and did not bother the rest of the family on the second floor. The pool is excellent, and the location is amazing - just about two minutes from the beach and a 12-minute drive to Barefoot Landing.

Amazing stay!

We had a great stay here everything was clean and kit he was well stocked with everything we needed. Owner was very responsive and answered every question in a timely fashion. If there is someone with mobility issues the stairs are steep but the outside set of steps to go up stairs are a little easier. The kitchen is upstairs just fyi. 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs. Lots of room to sit and very spacious. Pool was great amenity to have and location was perfect. We did rent a golf cart because we had someone with mobility issues but it isn’t a bad walk to the beach and there is a ramp at the public access right near the house. We will stay here again!

Our Family Beach Home Get Away!

This house offers everything a large multi generational family needs to accommodate everyone’s wants and needs. If we aren’t at the beach we were lounging at the pool. This is our second year staying here and plan to return yearly.

Great location

The house was exactly as expected. It is a well-loved, family home. The house was clean and had plenty of space for our family of 6 adults. The beds are a little softer than we are used to, but they were newer and clean. It is in a great location. Nice residential area, away from the crazy busy tourist areas, but close enough to visit. The beach is beautiful and about a 2-3 minute walk across the street. There was almost no one on the beach when we were there, but it is still a little early in the year. But it is a great beach, soft fluffy sand with no rocks, and gorgeous sunrises.

North Myrtle Beach home

This was a great location for someone looking for home close to beach. Place was 2 min walk to beach. It was very clean. It had a great pool & outdoor deck. King bed was very comfortable. Be forewarned house is from 1950s, so it is somewhat rustic and odd layout, but important appliances have been updated.

Wonderful, peaceful, quiet!

The house was lovely! It was so peaceful and quiet. Just a short walk to the beach which was practically empty! The pool was perfect! The only thing is if you are traveling with someone with mobility issues getting up the inside stairs is a bit of a challenge because they are steep. There is a set of outside stairs that are a little wider and easier to navigate. The host, Mike was very easy to reach and helped us with everything we needed! Loved this place!

Great Family Get Away

Loved the location, short walk to the beach and convenient to stores. Kids loved the pool! Only wish kitchen was on the ground level. Rough having to carry groceries etc. up and down the stairs. Would suggest taking one of the living area's and make an extra bedroom. Overall was a very nice place, plenty of room. Thanks for sharing it with our family!

There was crud so think between the appliances. Needs a really good cleaning. That was the only negative thing about the place. Loved the pool and location to the beach.

Traditional charm, conveniently located!

This is what going to the beach was like when I was a child. Charming with a wonderful host. Fully equipped home. The pool was beautiful and even though we were past season to use it, we enjoyed the lights from the pool each night. I was in the area dealing with a lot of business and it was so convenient to come and go and closest the best Christmas decorations!

Vacation 2024

We loved everything about our trip! The house is very cozy and welcoming, it had everything we needed (except hot pads and pot holders, we just used towels)There were even beach chairs for all of us and an umbrella we used to take to the beach! Thank you! We were a family of 4 adults, a 2 year old and 2 dogs! The backyard and pool are amazing. So nice to relax in the pool after a day at the beach! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great experience!

We had a wonderful experience! Across the street from the beach, 3 minute walk at most, owner provided beach chairs to use. Beach was definitely not as crazy busy and most areas near hotels. Close enough to walk down to shops. Close to Kroger grocery store and Walmart. Had an issue with the A/C not working and owner addressed the issue immediately and was fixed within hours! Amazing! Nice safe location, quite neighborhood. Lots of sleeping options and comfortable beds. Kitchen fully stocked. Would stay again!

Spring Break Trip

This place was perfect for our family vacation! It was a huge space! This is the perfect location if you are looking for a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Just a minute walk to the beach and about 8 minutes to shops and restaurants downtown. We loved that we could bring our dogs and let them roam the backyard in the fenced in area while we hung out by the pool. Mike was very quick to reply to a question we had a few days into our trip. The house was very clean when we arrived. The back patio and pool area were very dirty and we ended up sweeping it because we were tracking dirt and leaves everywhere but other than that we were very pleased. Make sure you empty the pool filter each day as it fills up fast from the surrounding tree debris. The fan above the stove does not work so if you are cooking bacon or anything that will smoke make sure you open up all of the windows! We were very happy with this home and would absolutely return!

Great location, very clean and comfortable house.

We just returned from a few days stay at this home. Owner was very responsive to everything. This home was exceptionally clean and tidy and comfortable. Couches everywhere. As for the beach, I'm not sure you can even call it a one block walk to the beach access, so it was VERY convenient for daily walks. The fenced in pool area was great, just wish it had been later in the year so we could have used the pool because it looked really nice, with steps going in and shelf seating, in the pool itself. The deck off the kitchen and dining area was nice and overlooked the pool. Great for catching some rays and playing some board games. The dogs loved hanging out on the deck and checking out the neighborhood from high ground! Kitchen had everything we could have wanted, house has great TV's in almost every room Also ceiling fans in every room. Can't speak for the other beds, but the upstairs King bed is really great, I took note of the type from the tag for future reference!!! Might have to get one of those. Just a great house and a great location. Would highly recommend this home.

Older but Deserving of All The Positive Reviews

We spent 10 days in mid-March 22 at this property. There were 4 adults, three children and two standard poodles. It is an older property but it is as advertised. Very comfortable with plenty of room for everyone to spread out or be together.. It was very well stocked and we lacked for nothing in any of the rooms. As others have reported, the beds are incredibly comfortable and two of us woke without the usual morning pain every morning that we were there. (I did not realize my usual morning aches were from my bed and not age. I only wish I had taken the mattress brand home with me). It was a shame that the temperature was still cool and we couldn’t really make use of the pool but it was nice (when not raining) to make use of the yard. Lots of sitting areas in shade and sun. My dogs certainly loved romping around the grass area and sunning on the upper deck. As for location, the beach is a two minute walk away and lots of golf courses, mini putts, restaurants and shopping within a 10-15 minute drive. A quick drive to Main Street and up to Hwy 31 also allowed for a relatively quick drive to attractions at the south end of Myrtle Beach such as Broadway at the Beach, Top Golf,, Go-Karting …. Overall, the property provided us with a great, quiet haven whether returning from an outing or just lounging about. Thank you Mike

Wonderful vacation rental

We had never booked on vrbo so we were nervous about the whole experience. We were worried as to the distance to the beach etc… However when we arrived we were thrilled to see just how short/close we were to the ocean. The house was lovely, clean and comfortable beds. We needed a place that our elderly fur baby wouldn’t have to climb or be carried up and down steps and this was perfect! I needed a pool 😀 and it was awesome! We enjoyed breakfast out in the upstairs deck every morning. We had more room than 3 people and a dog needed but for the price and all the bells and whistles it was so worth it. I hope we can book this house again in our very near future! I’ve been sharing info with my family & friends and this would be an amazing rental for a ladies weekend or a ladies group from church etc…. I 100% recommended this house. Also Mike was wonderful and fast responding to my questions. Thanks Mike for your wonderful assistance!!!! We look forward to staying here in the future! Pam, Jon, Brianna and fur baby JR
