Massanutten Chalet: Enclosed Deck

Sasquatchtown Abby is a 4-bedroom, 2-bath mountain home in the Massanutten community, minutes from skiing, the waterpark, golf, JMU, and Shenandoah Valley adventures. Gather by the indoor stone fireplace, cook in the well-equipped kitchen, or relax on the enclosed all-season deck with its glass-stone fire table, wooded setting, and seasonal mountain views.



OUTSIDE

The big screened-in porch out back is where you'll spend most of your time this season. Morning coffee, evening card games, no bugs. The deck has a propane fire table for chilly nights, and there's a cornhole set in the backyard. Once the leaves drop, you get a mountain view through the trees.



BRING THE DOG

The backyard is fenced, so your dog can run around off the leash. Shenandoah National Park is one of the few national parks that allows dogs on most of its trails (leashed, 6 feet max). Massanutten Resort also welcomes dogs in its outdoor parks and at a few outdoor dining spots.



FALL IN THE VALLEY

Drive Skyline Drive for the overlooks, hit the orchards and wineries around the Shenandoah Valley, or stay on the mountain and do nothing at all. The chalet sits on a quiet wooded street in Massanutten Village, a few minutes from the resort.
