This property was the perfect place to stay while doing an ice skating camp. Has a wonderful view of the lake and really relaxing sitting out on the dock or balcony enjoying the lake. Really wonderful location right on Main Street within walking distance of the Olympic Center Ice Skating Rinks and all the shops and restaurants. Very comfortable beds.

Amazing! Stay right on the lake. Parking can be a little tricky but all in all was very easy to manage. Absolutely amazing location and amazing time in lake placid

This was the perfect spot for our active group! We were able to have busy days enjoying the live music in the park, super simple water sport rentals, and delicious restaurants and land on the back deck looking out over Mirror Lake. Simply perfect!It’s the little things that I appreciate the most…The keyless entry made it super easy to come and go without worrying about who has the key. The full size refrigerator was perfect for our party of 6. I was able the do one large shopping when we arrived and stock up on all of our favorite foods. I am already looking forward to booking this place again next year! Thank you!

We had a good experience here. One bit of consideration for the host is to offer an extra blanket or two since the only bedding for the futons were sheets.

Location in Lake Placid was an easy walk to enjoy the restaurants, shops and Olympic museum. And a 15 minute drive to ski at Whiteface & visit other Olympic sites. Host was responsive and accommodating. The unit was clean, comfortable and - OH THE VIEW! Literally on Mirror Lake!

This is a simple, low key space perfectly located in town. The directions about parking are wicked confusing but I think that is a Town issue, not the manager/owner. We had a great time.

We had a great time in a perfect location in Lake Placid, which we love. It is so fun and beautiful there. The apartment was small and a bit worn, but clean and you could not beat the view! (except for the deck lights hanging oddly on the deck, you should hang them so they are not in the way of that gorgeous sunrise!)

We spent 2 nights for a girl’s weekend and had a great time. Great location with a big porch and gorgeous view of the lake. The check-in process was super easy and we had good comminication with the host. Beds were comfortable and there were extra sheets for the futons. We were also able to bring our dog which was great. My only suggestion would be to add more pots/pans for cooking and maybe a rug for snowy shoes at the entrance. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone!

The apartment was simple but comfortable and met our needs once we were inside. The host had soaps and all the basics available. The location is excellent, right near Ben & Jerry’s and made it easy to access town. The host was very responsive and had excellent communication throughout our stay. There were a few things that were unexpected and worth noting for future guests:Stairs: There is a full flight of stairs required to access the apartment. This may be important for guests with mobility concerns or anyone traveling with a lot of luggage.Parking: The listing mentions “parking available.” Parking is street parking, which means paying for parking and town restrictions. We were fortunate to have good weather, but moving luggage in and out; or accessing the car frequently would have been challenging in rain or snow.Lake access/photo: The photo showing a table and chairs by the lakeside is somewhat misleading. The table and chairs belong to the nearby restaurant, not the apartment. Guests can access the dock during the daytime, but the lakeside area is part of the restaurant’s outdoor dining space in the evening, directly below the apartment’s balcony. See attached photo Overall, the apartment’s location and the host’s communication were excellent. We just wish the listing had been a little clearer about the stairs, parking situation, and lake access.

This apartment was perfect for our weekend in Lake Placid! Incredibly clean & well-maintained. Plus, the location and view is hard to beat! It snowed all weekend and it felt so magical watching it from the cozy apartment. Would love to return during the summer to take advantage of the deck!

It was nice! And would amazing in the summer! We went in wintertime, so it was a little cold and took a bit to get the heat where we needed it, but is was nice. Parking does suck at in downtown Lake Placid, so as long as you’re good finding a spot, you’ll be good.

An incredible property in the heart of downtown lake placid. There is a little noise from the restaurants near by but very manageable. The “private” dock is a wonderful plus and we couldn’t have been happier with the location.

The apartment was set up nicely. The bedrooms were beautiful. A couple of the beds were a bit hard. The available futons in the living room for sleeping could have used a vacuuming. Also, there were no blankets or comforters to be found for the futons. The apartment was set up nicely and had a wonderful view of Mirror Lake. We were unaware of the stairs which made it tricky with luggage. Communication was good. We had an issue figuring out the lock on the door and the host got back to us in a reasonable amount of time

The balcony and dock are amazing. The location is absolutely perfect. The town of lake placid and all it surroundings are at your finger tips here.The two rooms, one with one queen bed and one with two queen beds were perfect.The living room and tv were easy to use.The kitchen was reasonably well-stocked and everything worked. It was such a win for our family.

Apartment was pet safe except for the deck staircase. Inside of the washer found a dirty rag/towel and sheets were left in dryer. Clean towels(???) were thrown on a rack and except for 6 towels, rags in my garage look better. Ceiling paint peeling and hanging(see photo) and there was a big hole in the screen door.Bathroom door was dirty and certainly needs to be cleaned/painted (see photo). The stairs leading down to the apartment were stained and filthy. The deck needed much work too.The alleyway to dispose of trash adjacent to the apartment was gross. The 2nd alleyway on the other adjacent side was inaccessible but could be seen from the deck and the street was also gross. First night (Friday 10/3)did not sleep much due to loud noises above. Second night 12:15 am to 1:30am sounded like motor running, carts rolling across floor and numerous extremely loud pounding all over sounding like a bowling ball dropping. We decided to leave after that experience and left one day early. In the morning while we were packing to leave we noticed debris on the bedroom floor. Looked up and saw a big hole (see image)and could see into the unit where saw movement. While leaving we noticed the door was open in the apartment above our rental and it was being fully renovated. Refund warranted!!!

Great location. Nice apt unit. Parking was a little annoying but always found a spot and it was Ironman weekend and crowded. My only complaint would be that mattresses are soft but I guess a matter of preference. Suggestion for owner- something to put stuff on like small table or shelf in bathroom and a couple of adirondack chairs for deck.

First, the view is the best part about this place. They make it seem like it is a condo or apartment group. It's actually down below restaurant facilities. They don't tell you there is NO free parking. You have to park on the street, if you can find a spot nearby! Parking is pay the box from 8am till 8pm within two blocks of main street. They let you know after you get there that there is also parking in a couple of lots down the street (two blocks, also pay parking.) After dragging your luggage from where ever you park or unload, then you have to lug it all down 16 stairs. There is also an alley entrance with noise, that wasn't even locked when we got there and only the dead bolt would work. We had to go to the store to buy our own paper towels, tissue and coffee. The oversized couches are worn and uncomfortable. The kitchen counter takes up half of the room. There were gaps around the bedroom window air conditioner that any bug could get through. We had to stuff towels around that. The sliding window blinds (2) are missing half of the blinds, but there are curtains.
